  1. the banshee crank is proned to pull apart. Welding it prevent this. Do it or you will have a very expensive bill. It requires you taking apart the whole engine.

  3. what does he do the exhaust and transfer port timmings at? Can you ask him.
  4. looking at a port job really mean nothing. You have to use a degree wheel and see what your port timings are. You can read all about this on the mac dizzy site.
  5. go to tsracing.com look under s&b filters and they make an 8 inch long one that is at 20deg so you can aim it. They are very nice and are 10 bucks each. They also sell the outerwear for another 10 bucks.
  6. dont be scared and put it on. Good luck with the adaptor for the stock air box.I couldnt get mine working.
  7. if you get a head the domes you run with your 350 will not work with your +4 stroker so just get the reeds and lighten your flywheel.
  8. I wouldnt replace the basket. Just use the clutch that FAST sells with stiffer springs. There is no need to replace the basket unless it is damaged. When you take off the clutch basket while replacing the clutch grab the gear with one hand and the basket with the other and see if you can unscrew them. If you can then you will need a new basket. If not then dont waste your money(yet)

  10. go to tsracing.com they have 8" ones that are 20degrees so you can turn them in to avoid the exhaust. They are 12 dollars a piece and are the same thing as K&N. They also sell the outerwears too. These filters are longer than most and work great. SSR told me about them if you have any doubts. They are called s&b filters.
  11. look at your shift shaft. Im sure its broken. Take off your clutch side and take the shifter off on the other side of the motor and slide that shift shaft out.

  13. Could it be that when you took off your stock carbs you diconected the tors. Look on the left side of the quad just below the gas tank and you will see a little black box mounted to the frame. Remove it and see what happens.
  14. the stroker crank is not going to work with your ported cylinders. If I know wicked they ported them pretty good and if you have over a 190 exhaust and 118 trans port then a 4mm will not work.
  15. the rz is a thinner gear and will not stand up to having 4 tires. I have heard that the 6th is ok to use but I dont know how or what to change.

  17. I'll sell you mine with pistons for 400. The top end has 2 trips on it. Im selling them because I am going to get a 7mm stroker and these wont work. They are at 65mm bore with wiseco pistons and the outside of the cylinders are fully polished by a professional polisher.
  18. im pretty sure they were the same numbers because when ted set mine up he just took a caliber and measured from the top to how far he wanted it to go and thats it. I guess I have a lot left in my cylinders from what other people say. They say his ports are mild but very good.
  19. I just called the dealership. Do I need both pinion 6th gear and output 6th gear. Can you tell me what part number or numbers I need?
  20. the stock banshee 6th gear is a (.875) Are you saying that the rz350 is 1.334? If that is the case then the rz 6th gear is compairable to the banshee 4th gear.
  21. Ya 18 to 20 seems to work well especially with high compression engines. The stator does not put out that much spark so the higher compression can blow the spark out.
  22. Ya 100 over is gone. Look into some cubs or a nice used set of stock cylinders. Hey bigred. I am useing a set of ted boyko (speed tech) cylinders right now. I just measured them last night and they came out to be 190 exhaust and 119 trans. Those numbers seem pretty mild to me but I think they made some good hp. How did your friend like his?
  23. you lost me. Do I want a banshee 6th gear or another one to make 6th gear closer.
