  1. thanks for the replys guys, I found the problem. is sucking air between the jug and the crank case you can run a .010 feeler gauge with ease, i bet I can run a thicker one in there. jug is not seating down flat for some reason. bolts are tight. thats trinity at its best. I wish I knew how to post pics, I would take a picture of the gasket material that they put on the fron side of the case, about a 2 inch peace between the jug and case between the two front center bolts. some shaddy ass work
  2. when the engine stayed reved up it started pucking antifreeze through the over flow but I thought that it was because the engine was warm, the engine got sent back the first time becuse the cylinder had a pin hole loosing antifreeze, they said that they fixed it
  3. yes this engine came from trinity they put it together, how can i tell what size domes are on it with out pulling the head off. intake boots look good. this engine has never ran right since we got it from trinity
  4. running on race gas sorry!!!!
  5. running on gas, with the 50 pilot when i rev it one time i couldn't shut her down she reved up real high the slides were down the throthle was not hung up
  6. 485 cheetah, blocked pvs, 39pwk, 3000 ft elevation, needle on middle clip, 150 main, 50 pilot,. it won't idle, if i rev it up it will stay reved up really high with the slides closed? I tried diffent pilots jets 52 and 55 with the 55 it smokes really heavy and wont stay running, with the 52 pilot won't idle if I choke it, it will start and idle really high. its hard to start with any of pilots. how do I know if i have a bad cranck seal or air leak.
  7. got cel needles 3rd clip,45 pilots, 160 mains running a whoooole lot better. it put a big smile on my face, shit i'm still smiling. the only thing i'm running the bowl out of fuel that any body know the height of the float. thanks to everybody for their responce.
  8. going to check float while apart. it supposed to be something like 16mm right. from the gasket surface to the botoom of the float with the carb upside down.
  9. what spark plugs do you guys recomend and gap. yes i'm running gasoline c12. thanks for the reply's
  10. I need help jetting my bike. i have a 4 mil 68mm cub,18cc domes, 35pwks,rdz pipes, open k&n filters. running 45 pilots, dgk needle on 5th clip and 160 mains. has real bad bog on bottom end. thats not pull very good, like it wants to but it can't. I moved my needle clip from the 3rd clip to the 5th and got a little better. dissapointed in cub. no low end at all have to rev the hell out of it to take off or it will just bog down and take a while for it to come up. 3200 ft. elevation 190 psi on each side., running vp c12 my other banshee with stock bore, porter and polished, stock carbs, t5's, vito's superstock pistons, beats the cubbed banshee by about 8 bike lenghts. is this normal or is my jetting off that bad on my cub? please help thanks.
  11. pics please. interested in the ones with the stingers. send pics to [email protected] please
  12. I got some new 35mm pwk carbs and k&n filters, running T5's. the filters lay against the pipes. is anybody running the same set up, what filter did you go with to clear the exhoust pipes.
  13. i tried a 30 the a 25 pilot is a little better, I had the vitos neddles on 4rd groove so I moved it to the 3rd grove. i'm going to mess with the mains got a 340 in it know. thanks for the advice everybody.
  14. on v-force reeds do you have to use the big gaskets on the intake side or can you just use regular gaskets. I tore mine trying to put in new reeds. the big gaskets cover the little gap were the reed cages snap together and the regular gaskets don't. if I use regular gaskets I can see daylight around the cage were it snap together.
  15. would the 34mm PJ be a decent carb? I see that most people use the 35mm PWk whats the difference besides on being 1mm bigger. any suggestions.
