  1. 13-44 is not the same as 14-41. No where close. 13-44 is the same as 12-41 and so forth. Most of the guys with mostly stock bikes run 13-41-43. If you do not want to buy a new chain you can get a 13 front and see how you like it. You will not be able to fit a 13-44 on the stock length chain. After you try the 13 front and you decide you like it then buy a new chain and run no smaller than a 14 and just get a bigger rear to match the ratio you want. 14-44 is the same as 13-41. You can look on manufactors of sprockets and see the ratio charts.
  2. 80 over is the last bore you can go before resleving it or running reliable. If you are trying to get more hp this will not get you much and will waste the bores of your cylinders. There are many other things to do for hp.
  3. Someone on planetsand.com has them. Ya they look very light which will make you faster for sure. He did not say anything about them.
  4. Ya I emailed that guy on ebay asked if he would make me a 75 fin one cuz I dont want to pay 400 for a new rad. Maybe two 75-100 fins would work good lol.
  5. maybe I should get 4 inline coolers.
  6. Justintoxicated that is the reply I need. I have two inline coolers already and no they dont decrease the temps 30 degrees maybe 5. I use water weter too. I just have about 65-70hp and ride hard and fast. Draging up olds also makes the quad hot and then my friends that dont drag want to leave olds right after I just went up about 5 times so it is hot as hell. The battery idea is out because that is too much weight. I have gotting my quad down to 360 wet with full tank of gas and want to take off more. Where can I get these parts. I live in orange county and would need a detailed list of things to get. Or if you could give me a web site that would be great too.
  7. If you are not going to race mx where the rules make you use +2 max width then get +3 ones instead. Wider is better unless you ride narrow trail. I have jd performance +3+1's and they are awesome. The welds are perfect and are made for racing. If I was going to do it again I would get +3+2 arms to make the front end longer for draging and duning. I have heard good things about quicksand too but have never bought anything from then only talked on the phone with him and he is cool. So once again go WIDER.
  8. I would also agree with dune demon. Those fibers are also for a fz1000 or something like that and a warrior too lol. I guess those 4 strokes make tons of tourque. Another good idea is to get a direct drive lock out clutch but at 60-65hp you really wont need it.
  9. I have had dune trackers and mohawks and I dont notice any difference at all.
  10. do you have an extended swing arm? With 60hp it will be hard to keep the front end down. This also determans tires a lot.
  11. Please someone tell us how to wire up the fan and what to use becuase I really dont want to spend 400 on a cooler when the stock cooler does not really face the right direction of the wind right now so I think a fan will help draw air through the cooler.
  12. If you ride in glamis I would go with rudy kurtz at port majic. He wants around 400 for a all out port and he has been making some of the fastest bikes at glamis for over 20 years. He is very cool to talk to also. I have heard nothing but bad things about using the spacer plate. Get your domes cut by rd-tek guy. He knows domes a lot.
  13. buying something done is way cheaper but you just have to know what you are getting and who did the work to it.
  14. put a tape measure on the front and rear of the tires and make them equal.
  15. I have been thinking about this too because I have a 200w stator so I am sure that I can put a tiny fan that will pull air through the radiator.
  16. nope that not how the order goes. Get blue label rims. This is for sand right? Everyone I know has blue rims and have no problems with them uless they loose tire pressure and then the lip will bend but then all you have to do it take a dead blow hammer and beat it back and you can bearly tell. I have had the same rims for 4 years now at glamis and only had a problem once when the front right tire went flat and while unloading the quad off the truck my asshole ex-friend just droped the quad to the floor and bent the rim bad. All the other times we unload the quad this was out a 9" lift with 37" tires I have never bent a rim. Weight will slow you down dont do it.
  17. Has anyone tried the new basket with stainless steel inserts for a LONG TIME. Im not talking about just installing it and saying it works good. I am talking about heavy dune ridding which is very hard on the clutch and after about 10 trips.
  18. you need race gas for sure at least 50/50 but, lucky for you the rebel gas stations have it in the pump somewhat cheap. Also you need to weld you crank as soon as posible or between seasons before it blows up and cost you tons of money.
  19. Use some penetrating oil lol penetrating. That should take care of some of the rust and just leave it alone untill it breaks.
  20. Nope that is not supposed to move. The trouble is that the factory clutch basket is not rebuildable and you will now have to buy an aftermarket one to fix the problem. They are easy to remove the gear and put it on your new basket and make sure you use a lot of red locktite.
  21. Take it to your local self-car wash and use their pressure washer. Tip the bike over and blast the hell out of it. Dry it with a hair dryer after spaying wd40 so it wont rust. Put the top end back on and do a warm up and change the tranny oil. Also at the dunes after a good ride it would not be a bad idea to change the oil again. This process works very good. You have to clean it out no question about it.
  22. Some quad shops sell chain by the link off of rolls. For a 10 you will need atleast 150ish but you should measure. RIS has break lines for cheap too. I have heard of people useing two chains also.
  23. I still have the flywheel. This part makes it so that when you are at idle the lights do not dimm. $100
  24. Well you could do a compression test. What is done to the motor and what size rear tires do you have?
  25. either you have to wear ridding boots or get the nerfs. Some one said that graydon proline have some nice ones. Try to get something light as possible cuz all that weight will slow you down.
