  1. that should be almost perfect.
  2. whats up with the rear shock Its over straight up and down. 102 aint nothing. My zx10r does that in 1st gear.
  3. call up wayne at eibach and have him recomend you a spring to put on it. Try that spring out first and if you dont like it then you should send it somewhere. I am 225lbs with a 6in swing arm and I like my stiffer spring alone. I think it rides great. There was no need to get it redone and spend another 300 bucks on it. So try it out first and see how you like it.
  4. You should put a large hole in the carrier housing so you can lube the zerk fitting. The ones that will sell the most are the round tube or oval tube swing arms. Can you weigh one for me. How about a +8 with chromoly honda style carrier. Weight is a big issue for a lot of guys like me.
  5. I think you went with a great tire choice. The 8 inch rim is the only way to go. Can you find out exatly what the port numbers are for me. Im just currious. And who did that work?
  6. I just weighed my 73 roll out 22-11-8 9 paddles buffed bead to bead extreme haulers and they weighed 14.8 each on the rim with air.
  7. you will have fun with what you have. Learn how to ride good and just have fun. Start in second gear when you launch and then lean back over the woops. A good port job would make a ton of difference. Like a 196 126. For the money and quality I would go to herrjugsracing.com
  8. if your going to get the mohawks get them in the bead to bead buffed style. They will looked buffed just like your back tires. If not they look like shinny plastic crap. When I changed from some dune trackers to the mohawks it took off 3 lbs each tire. I noticed they are a shorter and thiner tire and do not dune quiet as well but pretty close. Id say its worth the 6 lbs.
  9. just the plug style thats all. I would recomemd getting one with more stuff done to it because all the stuff adds up quick but if you can find one that is already done you will save a ton.
  10. get filters at tsracing.com. Look at filters and they are called s&b filters. Shhhhh dont tell anyone else though. This should be a direct link to the filters. You can get outerwears there too. CHEAP. I hope I dont get banned for this. http://www.tsracing.com/store/showprod.cfm...ectGroup_ID=120
  11. You need to put it down the hole either left or right. This way you are inline with the wrist pin and the piston can not rock. It makes a big difference.
  12. im sorry but the pipes you have are not meant for porting. The are for stock cylinders. For right now you can either get an aftermarket head or recut your stock one for more compression. You can also get v-force 3 reeds but they are 215 dollars for about 2hp so not the best first mod. You can get an aftermarket stator plate that allows you to advance your timing. Rickystator.com has them for 35$. If you do raise your compression and advance your timing you will need higher octaine gas. Over all the best bang for the buck is porting. You would need to sell your pipes and choose another pipe.
  13. I was just messing with that guy because if he had to ask if it would hold then obviously he can not weld and is not confident with his own welding. Did you stick weld that and if so what stick did you use?
  14. Ok for stock cylinders use a 4mm and 7mm The cheapest is the 4mm crank can be had for 400 bucks. The next is a 7mm and can be bought from 700-1000 bucks. If you are going to an aftermarket cylinder then its a whole new story. I couldnt see why anyone would buy a 5mm crank for the cost factor. It just does not make sense. I think your builder bumped his head too many times.
  15. Im just going by what he said. Someone should weigh it. I heard the durablue is really heavy.
  16. if your going to pay the extra for a 5mm you might as well go 7mm. Same cost..........and you can still use stock cylinders for the sleeper look.
  17. a stock complete axle is 18.4 lbs hub to hub...........and the g force axle alone is 20lbs from what he said....
  18. if the axle alone is 20 lbs then the whole combo is 8 lbs more and that is rotating weight. And you guys wonder why your getting beat by the 4 strokes.
  19. 20lbs just for the axle? You should stick with stock because the stock one with all the stuff on it weighs 18.4lbs
  20. I would try one gallon race and fill the rest of the container up with the highest pump. My container usually holds about 6 gallons. If you do that with 93 octaine and 110 race that will give you 95.8333333. That will work for sure.
  21. It wont hold if you weld it.
  22. I just got new tires for my road bike. I will let you guys know how it rides. Oh boy I cant wait.
  23. it all depends on how long your swinger is
  24. a built two stroke is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy faster.
