  1. if i take my boost bottle off and go back to the stock crossover...will i need to rejet my banshee? if i do, do i need to go leaner or richer?
  2. ive had to change the intake boots on my banshee 3 times now...i dont know what the problem is with them but they always tear where it goes up to the boost bottle...where the boost bottle goes in the boot...anybody have any suggestions to my problem?
  3. no...the chain actually put a hole in the case...i have the piece that broke off
  4. thanks for all the help guys
  5. Last time i was out at the dunes, i threw a chain and it put a hole in the top of my case. mostly just the protective part over the front sprocket broke off..there is a little opening that goes through to the stator. my question is..should i get it fixed or will it be ok? my budget is very low right now but i cant stand ridin a craptor (back up bike) when i go out
  6. i was just reading another post about domes and he was worried about what size domes to run without his crank being welded, but he was getting a nos head...is that why he was concerned? my bike is bored over about 3 times over, cool heads, v force reeds, 2 K&N air filters with no box, and pipes with 19 cc domes and im running castor 927 32:1...am i gonna be alright runnin regular gas? becuz that other guy mentioned something about running race fuel, is that also because of the nos head??
  7. mikuni and im mixing my gas 32:1
  8. i was wondering what size main jets i should have in my banshee to make it run right...i have 32mm carbs, v-force reeds, bored about 3 times over, pro ciruit pipes, K&N air filters with no box, and some other things that wont really effect the jetting. any help would be great. thanks
  9. If u hit water before it died then you probably flooded the carbs out. Its hard to clear them out once you've done that...
  10. i have an '87 banshee and one time when i was riding in the dunes, the right ball joint of the j-arm broke, so i switched over to a-arms. i put my own mounts on my frame. just make sure you measure twice and weld once...its kind of a pain in the butt to do but its all worth it in the end.
  11. i run 14/42 with 22" 8 paddle tires...it works great for ridin through the dunes and i beat or at least keep up with all the other bikes racing up compition hill
  12. i have wiseco pistons and its bored about 2.5 over...but im having jetting problems at lower rpms
  13. I rebuilt my banshee about 1 1/2 years ago and its still running alright but it doesnt feel as quick as it used to be. I know its about time to rebuild it again but someone suggested to just replace the rings if the cylinder walls arent scratched. what do you guys think? And also i cant get it to run just right with leanness and richness..if i run 350 jets its too lean and with 360 jets its a little bit too rich, what should i do with that?
