  1. I feel ya evil. True dat baby. I totally agree with ya, people trash talk about stuff they don't have or have no experience with. Peace out.
  2. exactly, chevys suck now take it how you will, of the people here that answered, who actually owns a vehicle with a 6.0 in it ? post pics when you get it. you know you want it Ummmmmm, I do. Here is proof.
  3. My 04 Diesel runs great. I have a F350 and it tows like a dream. Lots of power even all stock.
  4. I think jetting. What elevation and air filter system are you running? I mix 110 low lead with premium for my 20cc domes, bike runs great. I am also at 370 mains with Toomey needles at 4th clip position from the top. Toomey 2:1 air filter setup.

  6. your lean bro. start going up with the mains and start with a 310. Yep, I agree with sredish. If you checked your plugs after cruising back to camp, that was not the right place to check them. Start increasing the main size. kenr74, glad to see someone else who jets big. I run a 2:1 Toomey and am running 370 mains at Glamis.
  7. What elevation? Sounds like you are lean to me with clamp ons unless you are like 4000' elevation. Was your plug color tested on a WOT test?
  8. If you are going to clamp on air filters, you better jet up big. If you have 340s in with an airbox, I would go to 400s with clamp ons. You may want to go 110 low lead race fuel and stick with the 32:1 ratio. With that much bore and 18cc domes, I'll bet you are around 190 compression.
  9. You can go to www.giantrv.com and there is a link to WW trailers and you can see the interiors.
  10. Unless you want to sleep on the floor, you can only get 4 adults in a Front Bath or Front Kitchen model, so you need a Front Sleeper model. When you get a FS model, you lose hauling capacity for quads. So you have to go bigger trailers, over 30'. My buddy has a FS2600 Weekend Warrior and he could never get 4 quads in his trailer. I on the other hand, have had 4 full size quads in my FS3000 and I can sleep 6 adults very easily.
  11. Thats right evil. Every night when I go inside, take a hot shower, click the furnace on and crawl into a real bed, I just smile and say "All the money was worth this." Then I really laugh when I wake up in the am and see my tent sleeping buddies huddled around the fire trying to get warm.
  12. Yeah, my buddy is selling his 33' 5th wheel. It is a 2003, fiberglass, dual A/C units, flipped axles, 16" wheels/tires. Nice unit.
  13. I thought I already said this, it is normal for it to hit the seat. My bike and 3 of my buddies all use this air filter. We all have stock carbs and intake boots and all of the filters hit the bottom of the seat. No big deal.
  14. 2004 FS3000 here.
  15. 142 on a CBR 600. 132 in a Mustang. 98 in a LS1 powered long travel sand rail.
  16. Anytime you change anything, you have to check your jetting. You need to get those screws out. Just because your bike runs good now, doesn't mean it will run good for long... I am saying this because you don't know how you are jetted now. "A lean bike will run good, just not for long"
  17. It sounds like you might be rich on the needles also. I would try a 27.5 or 30 pilot and move the needle position to the 3rd from the blunt end. Although, when you move the clip on your needle, you may need to come down on your mains.
  18. Welllll, I never said anything about it falling off. I had mine come off once in the dunes. It wasn't due to hitting the seat, I think it was due to being on my bike all summer and the oil from the filter ran down the intakes and got around the carbs where the filter connects. It got hot and slipped off after riding for a day. The lesson I learned was to always clean my filter before every trip and make very sure the mating surfaces are very clean and dry. Also don't overoil your filter.
  19. If it idled ok, I would leave the 30 pilot, that is what I run. Do you have stock needles? I would move the clip down 1 more position towards the pointing end.
  20. Yep, mine, and 2 of my buddies do the same thing. No biggie. Has been like that for 3 years or hard dune riding.
  21. You were definetly lean with those mains. I would rebuild it, put 350s in there, needle clip at the 4th position from the top, 27.5 pilots and see how it does.
  22. Yep, shifted real smooth.
  23. You will only get screwed if you dont' do your homework. I always use the internet to find the best price then take it into a dealer and tell them to match it or I will go somewhere else. I have bought 7 bikes in the past 4 years and they have always matched it.
  24. Here ya go dude. 480-897-1746
  25. Yep, 30 pilot is what you need. That is what I run on my bike and if I pull the choke out when it is warm, it will die right away. You are lean on the pilot, everything else sounds about right.
