  1. No, cracks, no welds, didn't leak when taken apart, drain hole seems to be perfect. Yes, my Paypal account is [email protected]
  2. Another vote for Quicksand. I have a set of Jannsens on mine, great product with a shitty customer service. Quicksands are also a great product with great customer service.
  3. I've got a set. Top [art has a small piece missing, bottom looks to be perfect. They just need a bath. I will ship the bottom for $100.
  4. I redid my 77 CJ. It was kind of a pain in the ass, and it's much easier to find parts for than yours. I say go for it. I will never get out of mine what I have into it. I will probably give it to my son some day. It's like a quad, every penny you put into it, come out as 1/3 of a penny in resale, but we all do it.
  5. If you could, both would help. Thanks
  6. I have Rockets, they work fine, I just wanted to try something different. I know Rockets and PTR's work for sure, I have had both on mine. As far as porting goes, I guess it would be called a National MX port. MX port geared toward top end. Here are the specs to compare. 196* exhaust duration, 128* transfer duration, 130* boost port duration. Intake floors dropped 3mm. These cylinders will be for sale if anyone is interested.
  7. Let me know what you have heard about the shift star. I had mine done by Boonman, who has done alot of shift stars on this site alone. I have never heard of an issue that was shift star related, it was always something else. The other mod I have never tried.
  8. I agree with both of the guys above. Someone did all the hard work for you, caps and a cable and you'll be all set.
  9. The one thing I will say, is you only have to do the wiring once. I have a stroker in the works right now and I keep thinking I have to go throught the whole nightmare it took to set it up in the first place, thank God it's a one time deal. Once you get it right, don't ever touch it again. I have seriously thought of building a wiring harness to put the RZ in a Banshee. I think alot more p[eople would try it if the hard part was not an issue. We will see how the new motor runs and go from there.
  10. Mine will be run on a set of 30's, so I can give you an idea on smaller carbs. Everyone seems to like big carbs, so it will be hard to say just how bad it is on fuel.
  11. I don't think there is either. It's really not a big deal to use different years, the plugs just don't match up. All it takes is a little cutting and crimping on some new connectors and every year can be adapted. The wiring is by far the worst part, but definately take your time. It will have you pulling your hair out at times. Good luck, it's worth it in the end.
  12. He's right, and there is also an order to do them in. I am almost sure it's stamped on the top of the head, but I would have to check.
  13. Can you measure the distance from the pipe to the cylinder at the front corners of the jugs? This may sound weird, but I have a set of RZ jugs and am planning to try some different pipes. RZ's have the PV's in front, so I just want t know if somebody can measure to see if they would fit. Thanks
  14. Good luck with that Fro. I have had 4 seperate people on here wanting to buy my frame. All say don't sell it because they will definately buy. I still have the frame. I thought if I dropped the price down to the point I did, it would go fast. It's not to say that any of them were just blowing smoke up my ass, it's just that I still have the frame.
  15. Squeeze a Banshee motor in there, great performance can now have great handling.
  16. You may be right, but I don't see a moderator deleting his own post. I don't think Ray has a problem with low ballers. I don't mind if someone low balls me, but they better not mind the word "no".
  17. How much do you want for those haulers? Would you do $1,000,000 shipped? Sorry, I couldn't resist.
  18. What are you looking to get for it?
  19. It seems high to me based on what they usually go for around here. Who knows, maybe you will get that for it, Ebay is very unpredictable. At the very least you will only be out the insertion fees. Anyway, good luck, nice looking bike.
  20. Sorry
  21. That's a little too rich for my blood. I am looking for something that may not even exist, a Blaster that runs for under $1000. I buy most of my Banshees for $1200-$1600, so I figured the cheap Blasters have to be out there also.
  22. I'm interested. Bare swingarm only, no bearings? Who made it? Can I get some pics?
