  1. Thanks, and yes I'm in Channahon(it's a bitch to spell). Just SW of Joliet.
  2. broke

    cases

I've got a set, small piece mising above chain, but no holes at all. $100 shipped. I am cleaning them right now, I can get pictures soon.
  3. If somebody wanted all the stock parts with mine, I would have to send them a whole extra quad minus the frame.
  4. Has the chat been completely forgotten about?
  5. $200-$350 Yes, you can use them with a +4. It takes the usual work to run them. The Noss head and ome will not work. You will most likely have to get the stock head cut. You will need the; CDI Regulator PV controller PV servo Wiring harness Battery or eliminator Flanges But that sould just about sum it up. I have a set of stock bore jugs sitting here with head and bolts that I got for $200 if that tells you anything.
  6. It sounds like the Utility models to me.
  7. The frame is in very nice condition. Very few paint chips, I can't say how old it is, but it is newer than 1997. Frame has two minor problems. Small metal loop under fuel tank to route cables through is broken, and metal tab to mount front plastic on is bent. Neither one is really an issue, but I don't want anyone to get any surprises. You can't see either of them on a complete bike. I will post pictures of both of those. I would prefer to not ship this.
  8. Just about any manufacturer can make one. Try Stan's site . He builds very nice stuff at very good prices also. Some companies will shorten you stocker also, Quicksand also does very nice work as well as converting stockers. The negative length swingarms are one of the best mods you can do to our tractionless monsters. The names in the posts are the links to their sites.
  9. Yeah, I know you're not Ray. I thought most everything went through Ray as the distributor. I know you produce the pipes, and names are always good to know when you actually meet someone face to face. I just went though Tom at the time, I don't think Ray was selling them the way he is now. Keep up the good work, all involved.
  10. I won an auction and the seller has refused to sell me the wheels and tires. Try to figure that one out. Stay away from "bluscuby" also
  11. I thought it looked familiar.
  12. Speaking of RZs, they definately have the market on building pipes for RZ motors in Banshees. Too much stupid argueing about whos tie is the redest. A pipe that is built to peak with 194 degrees of exhaust timing is going to run better with cylinders built with that timing. Put PTR mids on a drag motor and they are going to be down on power, but put some out of frame drag pipes on a stocker and it will be down on power compared to the PTRs. There is "NO" perfect pipe for everyone. I think Rockets, Shearer and CPIs are going to offer about the best top end you are going to find in a pipe you can still trail ride with. Are there pipes that will make more power, sure. I think one of the things that is making Rockets what they are "IS" Ray. Small companies are nothing with out great customer service, and you really couldn't do a better job than him. I run Rocket pipes and can keep up with some pretty fast bikes with my MX motor. I've actually had mine for quite along time, longer than most and I am still trying to figure out the best set up as far as porting and bolt ons to get the most out of them.
  13. Can you also send some to [email protected]
  14. Definately let us know how they did. I meant nothing insulting above, but some people just get too defensive. My appologies and if you guys happen to come across "complete" Cub top ends, scribble me in on that list aslo.
  15. I could be wrong, but just unplug it. It's been a long time since I did mine, but I am almost positive that's what I did. Track the wires down in the harness and pull.
  16. You left? Sorry, I had to.
  17. You do just drill and tap it, but do not drill and tap where that pencil is pointing. Here are a couple pictures of where I installed mine. It really is a "No Brainer" when you know where to drill.
  18. I never said you could buy a whole top end, I said I consider the jugs to be the top end, I just don't consider them to be the "whole" top end.
  19. I've got to tell that to my "blonde" wife.
  20. I had my RZ jugs originally done by Patriot. They were getting tired so I figured while it was apart I would send them off to Jim to see if he could get any more out of them. I will let you know how they come out, but I'm really picky who I send my stuff out to, so only after probably 20 PMs did they leave for Passion. He definately seems to know his stuff and I have no doubt they will run great. I actually think that most people who complain about how there engine runs after it was ported, probably got port work that doesn't suit their riding style.
  21. A&S sells just the jugs for $875, so he is tecnically right if. Noss head is $260 w/domes. $150ish for pistons. We are at $1285 for that. I don't know what they charge for a clean up port, but full port work from them is only $250. I will admit the longer rear studs and other minor harware will add some extra expense, but I think for that price alot of people will go for new. I not trying to be an ass at all, because I was considering buying them. Good luck, I've heard they are a hell of a cylinder.
