Remember where you are. Sredish even takes some shit about his Honda. This is a site of no bottom end having, bad handling, horribly suspended, nothing quite like it, always grinning, dinosaur quad riding top end junkies.
It doesn't look right to me either, what is your caster set at? If the top arm is flipped and the ball joint isn't where it should be, you caster will be off and let you know right away.
You're probably right about that. Since the only real VIN that these things have is on the frame, they are almost too easy to steal and part out. Every time I buy one to part out I wonder if it's stolen when they don't have a title.
Someday you may see it again, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
I'm not too sure exactlywhat that meant, but I do agree on the Banshee part. 250Rs are some of the best quad ever built, but for the type of riding you described, you would really benifit more from the Banshee's good trait than from the 250Rs.
I have a set of 30mm Keihin clones and they work great. They look to be the same one as the pics. I may have to step up to a larger carb with the new motor, but these are going to get a try first. I would say to stay under 30mm, like someone said up top, 28's may be perfect for you.
Fing the one that has the sweep, length and rise you like and go with any of the quality brands. Brand name to me doesn't mean much ,but I won't run junk either. I would prefer a $40 bar that felt right over a $100 bar that didn't.
It's a shame how long this has been for sale. Drag bikes seem to be hard to sell unless you have a monster that you don't mind shipping to the UAE. Good luck, it might work out better for you to finally part that thing out.
