  1. I was thinking *nearly the same thing. NO ONE should ever use divorce as a threat or leverage in a marriage.
  2. I agree. With a 2 stroke engine (the dealer may or may not know this) you will have 1. Ignition and 2. Carburation. If it isn't the carburators (and it infact IS NOT an air leak) it will be ignition. Thats all there is. No valve train, no real fancy electronics. Another thing the dealer might not know is that the coil fires BOTH cylinders at once. So, its not your cdi, its not your stator, its not your rear sprocket. If one side gets spark, and the other doesn't....start there.
  3. Well, my wife has a Reach so that will have to do.
  4. Hey, if I used an electric toofbrush would it take even less elbow grease? I'm always down for an easier way.
  5. Oh, no one would ever lie about that.
  6. I miss quick and iridea250r. Good times. I spent many a night lauging my guts out at what ever it was that happened to be going on (skinny).
  7. Happy Birfday Travis!!! Tornados suck
  8. You are correct. You cannot replace those at all. If one is torn on a brake caliper I generally don't worry about it as I don't run in mud at all and I wash my bike after I ride. But, you might want to just dab some RTV around that bolt to seal it up and it will be able to function properly still.
  9. God damn right on that one. Religious affiliation, "color" of skin, heratige, country of origin etc don't mean shit when it comes to a persons standing in society. Its all in the actions of the individual, not the affiliation.
  10. Thanks. I think I've seen the megasquirt site before, but that was before my computer took a massive shit on me and I lost all my bookmarks.
  11. Mostly about how to choose the turbo for the desired application. I would be willing to bet I know 10x less about turbo charging than you know about computers. Also, how do you determine the lb/hr injectors required for your application etc. If there is a book/manual I can buy I'd be willing to read through it.
  12. Does he run it out of gas after he shuts the fuel off? I used to run a fuel filter, and if I let the line run dry, I would get some sort of vapor lock because of the length of hose or something. I would have to turn the fuel on, let it sit for about 10 minutes until the glass filter element was full, then I could start it. I ditched the in line fuel filter and now its not a problem. Your buddy might have too many kinks and bends and shit in his line. Check it out and see if its a straight shot to the carbs or not.
  13. A shop I went to as a kid had a train horn there. The thing was HUGE! Took 120psi or some shit like that to run it. I think if you blasted that at some old lady crossing the street you'd knock her out of her shoes.
  14. Are you crazy? You're gonna get sued saying those things!
  15. Was this guy one of Clintons attorneys?
  16. I'll listen to just about anything really. I like some of the Johnny Cash stuff that I've heard since I was a kid.
  17. I'd take a slider over a roller anyday. I've had to make a few rollers in a pinch, and when the sand gobs them up and they stop spinning, the chain grinds them down to nothing in a hurry. The sliders have enough surface area on them that this doesn't happen, and you never have to worry about if the damn thing is working right or not.
  18. Bought a box of chain back in December. It wasn't enough so I bought another box at the end of January. 5 days ago I got around to opening the 2nd box so I could link the 2 together and get shit put on my projet bike. When I opened the 2nd box the chain wasn't a Renthal R3 o ring chain, but an R1 non o ring chain in an R3 box. I call them up and ask if I can exchange it even though it had been more than 30 days. No problem they said. They emailed me a UPS label, I dropped it off at UPS, and I got my R3 o ring chain in today. I was amazed. I didn't get the 3rd degree, no one accused me of swapping chains, hell I didn't even have a receipt! They just pulled up my account history, and I didn't have to enclose a note or anything telling them what to do. They had it ready and waiting for when my chain shipped back to them. Thats some pretty damn good customer service.
  19. no Got too much shit going on this year. Hopefully I'll be out there end of may, june etc.
  20. I could, but I can guarantee you I won't have time to check the math and or dimensions.
  21. Damn I'm good. That bike was sick out in the sunlight and up close. It looked like the engine had been chromed. Never saw it run though. It just sat there like a jewel in the sand.
