  1. Found some pods and outerwears on ebay for $44.00 shipped. They are not k/n's but say they are comparable to them.
  2. How does the toomey 2 into 1 setup compare to the pods? Where's the cheapest place to get a set of pods and outerwears?
  3. I have been running a pro flo with KN and outerwears without the air box lid for 5yrs. Will there be any gain in performance by switching to KN pods and outerwears and doing away with the air box?
  4. On my last rebuild I started out with 185psi in each cylinder. How much psi drop should there be before doing another topend rebuild?
  5. I used xcr's on my shee and could not get them to hook up at all. I switched to maxxis irazrs and they were better, but still not happy. I have a new set of kenda sport radials that UPS should be bringing tomorrow and I will give them a try. My buddy has the sport radials on his 450r and they hook up like crazy.
  6. My buddy's would not work either with the wire wrapped around the plug wires. Trail tech told him to tie into the wire going into the coil, not sure which one (orange or black). Give that a try.
  7. Anyone here running the kenda sport radials on the rear of there shee? How are they hooking up for you loose and hardpak dirt? My buddy has them on his honda 05 modded 450R and they hookup like crazy on hardpak and loose sand. He had maxxis razors at 1st and they did not get near the traction. So I think I might be getting some and trying them out on the shee. I am running maxxis IRazrs now and they spin way to easy off the line on any surface besides pavement.
  8. That is where I always ordered from also, but having an extra 40.00 bucks to buy beer with I think I'll try kgmotorcycle tires. From what I read on there site they have a good return policy if any of the wheels or tires show damaged or defective.
  9. I will be ordering new rear ITP C Series polished wheels with kenda sport radials 20x11r9 mouted on them soon. The best price I have found is $229.00 shipped to my door from KG Motorcycle Tires. Rockymountainatv wants $270.00 shipped to the door. Has anyone bought from kgmotorcycletires.com? Anyone know of any other places that have better prices? Thanks
  10. I decided to hold off on getting a tank cover at the moment. I will get back with you later if something changes. Thanks
  11. Sorry for posting in the wrong section. Can someone move it to the Wanted section?
  12. Anyone have a nice red banshee tank cover for sale?
  13. Get an ohm meter and check your sparkplug caps. Mine would miss and pop like hitting a rev limiter at 3/4 to WOT and found out that my plug caps were bad. I thought it was jetting problem all along.
  14. Is there any difference between RB's dune port and a dune port done by Jeff @ FAST racing? I noticed RB charges $250 and FAST racing charges $350. I have read nothing but great work from both.
  15. I have done some searching on the net and 89, 96, 99's came with red fenders.
  16. I thought 1999 model came in red. Anybody have a 99 shee?
  17. What year of banshee came from factory with red rear fenders? I have a 03 limited with yellow and black fenders and am wanting to change it to yellow and red.
  18. Is there any delay with the showing of RPM's on the tach? Does it also show the current temp of the engine?
  19. I had the same problem and come to find out my sparkplug caps/boots were bad. Spent $6.00 on 2 new NGK plug boots and now she runs perfect. Alot of people don't know that plug boots are a wear item. I thought it was jetting too and changed out the jets a hundred times it seemed like and that never worked.
  20. Use your stock needles try 3rd clip from top. The toomy needles never worked for me. I have about the same set up and run 340 mains.
  21. 80/85w pro honda trans fluid in the red bottle.
  22. I installed the tusk steel plates that are offset and made a difference. It does not move forward when shifting into 1st while engine is cold. They grab just as good as the FAST steel plates, but shift much smoother.
  23. Ya'll think the tusk steel plates with all the small little half holes will grab as good as the smooth FAST plates? I hate to swap them and the clutch slips some.
  24. I had a tusk before and I think I still have the steel plates. I may have to give them a try. If I remeber correctly the tusk plates have a bunch of small indentions. What is the reason for the plates to have these? The FAST steel plates are smooth.
