One of my studs on my noss head started leaking some coolent. Pulled the head and replaced the o-rings with some I found at the autoparts store. Thickness of the orings were like .03mm thiner than the origanals. Put it back together and still leaks around the stud. Do any of you guys ever put any type of sealent on the orings when installing a cool head? If so what type of sealent? I may just have to order a complete pro design o-ring set, i really don't need the rest of the o-rings just the ones for the studs.

Should I go with K/N pods and outerwears or toomey's 2 into 1 filter setup with outerwears? Any performance difference between the two?

I am needing to replace my outerwears for my k/n pod filters that measure 4"L X 3"W. Where can I get replacemet outerwears for these?

I am going to little sahara in oklahoma next week for the first time and i read on there website the flag has to be 10ft from the ground. My banshee grab bar is 2ft 4in from the ground and I have a 6ft flag now but I am still about 2ft short. Where can I find a 8ft flag, or can I get by with only 8ft from the ground?

450r rear tires are the same as what came on the 660 raptors right? I was thinking about using the rear tires that come on the 400ex. Which tires out of them would get more traction do you think?

What do the springs between the shift forks do? Is this something that could be done to a stock tranny? Would it make it shift better or this only works with overrides? If so where do I get the springs? I have my tranny apart right now waiting on a new 2nd gear wheel. I already have the shift pro kit and modded shift star. Is there anything else I should do to make it shift smoother?

Is it ok to use yamaha oem base gaskets and trim them to match dune ported cylinders?

What would cause my rear wheels to spin when I lift up the rear end while in neutrel? I also noticed that when putting it in gear it won't engage until you start letting the clutch out while holding down on the gear shifter.

I always run the BR8ES plugs. I read some of the other post on here and they were using 9volt battery's to power the vapor.

Fixing to install a new vapor on the shee. When hooking up the tach to the coil do I hook the red wire into the orange or black wire coming out of the coil? As far as the black wire coming out of the vapor I am going to ground it to the frame, or am I better off wrapping the red wire around the sparkplug wire? Also I think I am going to use a 9volt energizer battery to power the unit.

I would like info on modding my shift shaft also?

What model msr easy pull is it? Is there different styles for different bikes? Do you have to do away with the parking break?

I had the same problem on my 03 shee. My sparkplug caps went bad. It ran fine @lower RPM's but from 1/2 to WOT it ran like crap. I replaced my stock plug caps with some NGK sparkplug caps and shee ran like new.

Wanting new rear tires for geat hookup in all riding conditions for my shee. I am stuck between the Ohtsu radials that come stock on the old 250r's/400ex's, or the dunlops that come stock on the YFZ450's. Anyone using these tires on their shee? Looking for really good traction off the line.

Has anyone had problems with the tach not reading RPM's correctly. A buddy of mine said his will max out the tach at 1/4 trottle. Tried wirring it different ways with no luck.

There is a chart on e3's website and it shows it to be part# E3.30

Has anyone tried the e3 diamond fire spark plugs yet? I think they are about $10 each. Is it worth the extra money or just stick with the ngk's?

I have read that the tach does not read correct rpm on the banshee. Anyone having problems with the rpm being off?

Last topend was about 5 years ago. I decided to go ahead and do a rebuild and have herr juggs racing do a dune port on her. Can't wait to see what kind of power shee will have.

Just checked the compression on my shee and I have 170psi left cylinder and 150psi right cylinder. She runs great. I did notice that the sparkplug is lighter in color on the left piston than the right. Should I rebuild? If I keep running like this will I do damage to the topend?

I am running kenda sport radials on the rear of my shee and I need to replace my itp xcr front tires. What would be a good tire to go with my kenda sport rears? Should I go with the kenda sport radials front tires also. Anybody tried them out yet?

I had a problem like yours and come to find out my spark plug caps were bad. I replaced them with 2 NGK plug caps and shee ran perfect ever since. You have to use an ohm meter to test them.
