  1. If I was near stock with my motor I would not be running race fuel. Shit at $11.00 gallon it cost a lot to run the shee. I only make bout 13 mpg.
  2. It is a waste of money to run race fuel if your motor does not require it.
  3. Are there any lighter springs for the factory 26mm carbs?
  4. Couldn't you just shorten the factory springs some for a lighter throttle?
  5. Depends on your compression and timing. I have a hjr dune port, 170psi compression, 6 degree advance and run 50/50 at sea level. She runs perfect
  6. I am going to make the switch to av gas as soon as I use up the fuel I use now. Right now I am using a 50/50 mix of VP C12 108 octane and pump gas 93 octane with koltz super techniplate mixed at 36:1. Should I use straight av gas 100LL mixed 36:1 when I make the switch?
  7. Is the 100LL avgas rated at 100octane? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I head from a friend it is around 110 octane. Which is it?
  8. Which direction you run them? Against the arrow or with the arrow on ther sidewall? Any difference running them either direction?
  9. Is that stock swingarm and is it hard to keep the front down on takeoff? How wide are you rear rims? I was going to get itp 8x8.5 I would like to go with some 8x9 or 8x10 but can't find anyone that makes them.
  10. Do you think I will have problem with it wanting to wheelie off the line? If so just run them the direction of the arrow?
  11. I think there is some decals out there that you can install on your shee that increases horsepower dramatically. That would get you close to 110mph maybe. Or you could swap out your engine with a gixxer 1000 and hit 110+ for sure. LOL
  12. I am wanting to get a good set of rear tires to run on a couple of dirt/sand drag tracks in my area. I have been running the stock ohtsu honda 400ex rear tires for trail riding but they don't hook verey good in the looser stuff. I was thinking of trying out the 22x11R8 pro wedge 2's. My bike is making 63hp and I am running the stock swingarm. Would this be a decent tire to run and will they hook up on dirt/sand that is about 1"-3" deep. I have a set of straight 8 paddle sand haulers, but the dirt tracks really arn't deep enough to run them. I read that running the pro wedge 2's in the opposite direction will give more hook up. Anyone running the wedgies? What about maxxis 4 snows? Any other suggestions?
  13. are there any downsides to doing this mod?
  14. I went ahead and swapped back to the stock lever and the pull was harder and not as smooth as the ez pull. My bad, what happened was I was running the stock lever with 3 hd and 3 oem springs. Then l swapped over to the ez pull lever and 6hd springs and the pull felt about the same, but that is with 6 hd springs. I wasn't comparing apples to apples. Anyways for my adjustments I have the arrows lined up on the crankcase and I used a nickel to set the freeplay on the lever/perch. Do theses adjustments sound about right?
  15. I just installed the ez pull lever/perch and to tell you the truth I really don't notice any difference in it over the stock unit. Clutch pull feels about the same, didn't lighten up any that I can really tell. My cable is in great shape and is well lubed. Should there be a noticable difference? I do like the quick adjustment for the cable over stock.
  16. I am replacing my factory clutch lever with an ez pull clutch perch/lever and am going to remove the parking brake. When I unplug the parking brake sensor plug behind the radiator, is that all that needs to be done. Didn't know if the ignition would cut out over idle. Thanks
  17. When I called your shop the guy quoted me about double than what is listed on your web site. I did not place the order yet. Sent you a pm.
  18. I am using the stock clutch lever with 3 oem springs and 3 hd springs. I am noticing a little slippage under hard acceleration. I want to run 6 hd springs but it wears my arm out from the hard pull. If I get the ez pull clutch lever from f.a.s.t. racing and run 6 hd springs will the clutch pull be the same or easier than the stock lever running 3 oem & 3 hd springs?
  19. Where is a good place to get copper washers? I checked a couple hardware stores no luck. They had brass. Going to try some auto parts stores.
