  1. absolutely. they are a better tire by far.
  2. i seriously doubt you damaged your wheel. hipers can take serious abuse. ive rolled my bike end over end down 200 foot hills and never had a hiper be messed up. i say look toward your spindle and other such parts..
  3. thats a badass bike.. bump!!
  4. cole doesnt really know shit... hes got some books he flips through when he wants to post something intelligent. or he asks a teacher..
  5. i run the magnum from FAST on my 10mm cub with no problems.. my bro runs it in his 4mm cub with no problems..id call FAST
  6. id buy a 450 before id buy a craptor..
  7. id pay someone to do it..
  8. first, you should use some sort of punctuation in your posts. that will better help people to understand what youre talking about.
  9. thats pretty natural for a banshee engine to vibrate at idle. when you rev it up it will seem like its not vibrating as much. ive noticed it too.. unless its really out of control vibrating, dont worry about it.
  10. so you have stock carbs? you had the sleeves pressed in your cylinders or what? you need to be more specific and give more details.. you need to do a WOT plug check and see what your plugs look like to determine your jetting.. what pipes? what air filter setup? we need more info.
  11. i agree, i already commmented in your other thread that 410 was way too big. try a 340 and see what happens just for kicks..
  12. sounds pretty close to me.. im at 1000 ft, 90 degrees and im runnin 160 mains, 45 pilot, clip in middle.. if anything you may be able to drop your pilot down to a 42 but id say thats gonna be pretty close. have you run it yet and done a WOT plug check?
  13. id say every little bit counts.. i mean for what it costs, if you get 1 or 2 hp youre prolly doing pretty well.. i have it done on my 10mm cub motor... but shit after spending so much on it, it doesnt make sense to not go ahead and have it matched.. if youre just stock stroke, stock cylinder wity no porting i wouldnt bother. its not worth the hassle.
  14. got a picture?? are you talking about the banjo bolts?
  15. cameron at redline did the 2-4 duneable in my 10mm, my old 4mm and my bros 4mm motor. we shipped him the trannys and bottom cases and none of them took longer than 2 weeks...just saying.. excuses and people not letting me know whats up is more than enough for me to not use them anymore. dave moore, FAST and Redline are the only people i deal with because their customer service and timing has always been right on..
  16. i dont have any drawing right now but it wouldnt be hard to make them. basically i need the carrier straps, pivot tube, and the bushings made. everything else i can really do myself, but if the price was ok id do the piece that the linkage bolt goes through and maybe the chain slider mount.. he made me some straps at one time and he was real cheap. but since his divorce he isnt doin any banshee stuff anymore..
  17. klotz at 40:1 in the cylinders and belray 10w40 in the tranny..thats what i use anyway..
  18. elevation will play a part in the compression.. i dont know exactly what a stock banshee compression is, but i know he needs more than 95 or 100 pounds.. hes prolly lucky it will even start. blowit, if he cant see the cross hatching anymore id say that combined with his 95 pounds of compression would more than likely require it to be bored. i suppose if it mic's out right he could get away with just having it honed. either way something needs done with the cylinders.. but it sounds like the tolerances arent even right for just new pistons and rings.
  19. not saying that.. i havent done the conversions for a while tho.. i need to find a cheaper machine shop to make shit for me. i got nailed pretty good last time i had parts made. maybe this winter ill look into finding something.. right now, work is nuts and i dont have the time or energy to build them anyway..
  20. 400 main jets?! thats huge and almost unheard of. are you sure you arent really rich causing the sputter on the top end? ive run up to about 340 mains before but never anywhere near 400..
  21. do you even know what the fuck youre talking about?? have you ever seen a banshee motor apart? before you go giving out information i think you should do some research on the subject...
  22. if the engine is original from 03 just do it right and have it bored to the next size and new pistons.. by just replacing the pistons you are really half assing it, esp on cylinders that are 4 years old..
  23. i used to do the conversion onto stock swingarms but i dont have a supplier for the kit anymore. i used to get them from cottoneyedjoe but since his divorce hes not really doin banshee parts anymore..
