  1. what year is the motor? the clutch components could be worn causing the clutch to slip. if all the other clutch parts are worn out, a new clutch will mask it for a short time, and then start slipping again. i suggest a tear down of the side cover to inspect your clutch parts.
  2. stick with wiseco. cheaper isnt always better, especially when its in your engine moving at 10000 rpm's. it always amazes me that people wanna go cheap on the parts that counts. just because you cant see them or because they arent bling bling is no reason to buy cheap junk.
  3. aint no banshee worth 28k.. theres no way in hell that bike will sell for more than 6k, let alone 28. its nice and all but theres nothing special about it.
  4. ahh got ya. did i miss that in this thread somewhere?? how come youre not at the HQ ride?

  6. im not worried about it. my bike isnt setup for drag racing. its got heavy a arms, swingarm, shocks.. its a hillclimber not a dragger. but im down for seeing what itll go against some bikes setup more towards drag racing.
  7. 10 mill cub. had it at the dunes in march of 2006 but had drag pipes on it that didnt work well. so i really never got to run it hard in the sand. even running like shit it would come out hard, but after that it would cut out and run like shit. so im looking forward to getting it out there and seeing how itll run. no idea what gearing ill need. im sure ill have to re gear when i get there.
  8. check out this site for a ton of different wheels. www.salesco.com you can at least get an idea of what you want from them then buy them somewhere else. just google aftermarket wheels and you should get a good listing of places that sell them.
  9. id run 20s on the back for sure. i have a set of 22s and they are fuckin big. run the 22s on the front to get that extra clearance if you need it.
  10. hell yea. should be for some good racin. last time i had mine there i had drag pipes on and it wouldnt run for shit. just rebuilt it and its haulin the mail. so should be a good time. what engine you runnin in that beast??
  11. do you plan on going with a 4mm motor any time soon? thats something to consider. either way, 33mm pwk are good carbs that will help with power. my brother ran them on a ported stock stroke motor and it ran well.. very similar setup to yours.
  12. there are tons of people on this site that cant spell, put sentences together, use punctuation or even use the right form of the word. firefox is a big help and should be used by all people who cant spell words with 6 or fewer letters correctly.
  13. i ran a lectron on my cr500 banshee. i didnt like it that much. id much rather run the keihins over lectrons any day.
  14. something doesnt seem right. they were fine before and now they arent? that doesnt make sense..
  15. rough on the intake and smooth on the exhaust!
  16. well be in the south. we dont like riding the banshees all the way from north to do some dragging.. my screen name is on my flags.
  17. either way you go, youll like those rims. ive had mine for about 4 years now and they are sweet. cant tear them up really..

  20. i had a durablue. it was junk. i bent the hell out of it and they dont warranty shit.
  21. you need to run higher gearing. try 14 or 15/41...
