  1. i just bought the longest one i could from RMATV. and i bought 2 master links. then whatever i need i just cut off another chain and put in there. ive never had an issue with 2 master links and it allows me to be able to make large adjustments to the chain for different gearing if theres not enough adjustment in the carrier. hope this helps..
  2. anyone gonna be there? im not gonna be able to make the HQ ride on account of the guys im going with have to go during schools fall break (12-14). it just wouldnt be practical for me to come down by myself for the HQ ride. so anyone gonna be down for the 12-14??
  3. I knew it would be hard to sell it so im thinking of trading it for something that might be easier to sell. Im not looking for any 400ex, blaster, dirtbike or anything like that so might as well not waste your time. Would consider banshees, yfz450, maybe a suzuki 450...a bike plus cash or something along those lines. pictures are a must! this bike is very reliable, runs great and is a real head turner. some shit its got... elkas all around fullbores +12 swingarm by GT Performance +3 a arms by GT Performance trailtech handlebar setup 2003 600rr motor custom built dyna ignition roll design foot pegs fcr carbs
  4. you hit it right on. its for compression increase only. no decrease in cooling will be seen. if you want to make your engine run cooler, i recommend a noss head.
  5. i have had FAST and Redline Racing do porting for me. both do an awesome job at good prices and their customer service is second to none..
  6. yea those pre filters are not good for anything other than sand. dirt will clog them up.
  7. stick to wiseco,,
  8. that is absolutely not true. haulers in no way turn as well as sandstars. if im wrong, then why does everyone with a duner 4 stroke or 2 stroke run v paddle tires? theres no way in hell, that you and your banshee friends know something everyone else dont. also, im willing to bet a good chunk of money that a stock kfx450r will stomp a stock 450r any day of the week. so i dont see that example even being relevant.
  9. no, just make sure you dont have any leaks. then throw the good shit in. might wanna re-tighten your noss head after the first ride.
  10. who is your buddy that has this motor? where you live? i have only seen a handful of these motors and they were all in hillclimb bikes.. id definitely be interested in the motor if you dont use it.
  11. haulers are more for straight line and dragging. lower tire weight make it easier for bikes to turn them since they grip so much better. sand stars are for turning and all that. no need for them to be super light.
  12. make sure your coil is grounded well. make sure the tabs are bare metal that it bolts to. i agree, it sounds electrical.
  13. dude for sure. ill hollar at you if i see you. ill have a 2005 cummins with a big ass white enclosed trailer. thats where the party will be at. prolly be in south camp..
  14. how about some gangster rap?
  15. man, im gonna be at LS the 12 - 14. the guys im going with couldnt go till then because they are in school and have fall break.
  16. did you do a wide open plug test to make sure the jetting is spot on?
  17. The way you said that made me fall out of my chair laughing me ass off :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: haha i try..
  18. i wouldnt trust it for anything other than maybe dragging. i just cant see the point of risking it when your ass is on it..
  19. i just run a sunline perch and a short clutch lever. the whole setup prolly doesnt cost 20 bucks. works fine.
  20. if hes running stock air box with the lid on, try a 200 main jet. if the lid is off, try a 210.
  21. its probably just some fuel mix sitting there. ive noticed my carbs have that from time to time. i dont think its anything to worry about.
  22. why dont you call the a arm builder and see what they recommend.
  23. what the fuck? 2300? thats a fuckin steal. nice bike!
