  1. yes i like them. irazrs are fuckin junk. overpriced heavy pieces of shit that wear down very quickly. so you do or dont have a banshee? im confused. i thought i read you traded for a 400ex..
  2. yea, stock ones still.. its my third set though numbnuts. i had a hookup at the local yamaha shop for a while and bought them cheap as fuck. and no, they dont blow cock. they are one of the best tires out there for all around riding.. question.. do you even own a banshee?? yea, didnt think so..so fuck off.
  3. what kind is it? you might be able to trade it for what you want.
  4. ill add to FASTOYS... i like to pull the lower coolant hose first, and get it funneled into whatever youre putting the coolant in, and then pull the radiator cap.. that way, you dont spill a bunch of shit everywhere.
  5. i would go no more than +2 for the trails. i think youre gonna have a hard time whippin the ass end around corners and in tight areas. you might have even been able to get by with a +4, but +6 is too long.
  6. call the place i swing from.. FAST.
  7. i do like the look of those tires. there are actually some guys in minnesota running those at the hillclimbs.. i mean, they still get their asses whipped, but they arent as slow anymore. i might try some of those after my 450 tires go to shit..
  8. im sure that his 4 seconds is a bit of an exaggeration. it does seem like a long time on a mostly stock bike to hit the power. youre looking a lot further into this than you should be.
  9. i run a pro design kill switch. its actually the only way to shit off my bike.
  10. damn, that chick is bangin.
  11. hahaha. how does the dad know what his daughters pussy smells like? hmm.

    Kin?

    ha, thats a good one.
  13. hahahaha busted.
  14. are you sure its the wheel thats bent and not the spindle? stock rims are pretty beefy. without taking the tire off im not sure how youre gonna beat it back, unless its bent outward.
  15. i would pull the carbs apart and see what jets you have in it. with a mod list, temperature, and altitude we can get you to where you need to be on jetting. the idling could be one of a couple things. either the pilot is too small or the idle is not set high enough. pulling the carbs apart will tell the whole story. since you just got the bike i recommend pulling it apart and making sure everything is right.. as for the plugs.. brown = rich tan = just right white = lean
  16. something is not right. the shifter should not be in the way of the foot peg. snap a pic so we can see whats going on.
  17. ive always run the d.i.d. atv chain. always worked fine. has little o-rings to help keep lube in. this would prolly be best for your application. i wouldnt recommend them for the sand as sand can stick to the o-rings causing premature wear on it. i would also stay away from dennis kirk. they are pretty steep on prices.. check this site out. www.rockymountainatv.com cheap prices and very fast shipping. plus they have a great return policy.
  18. i disagree. proper jetting is in fact necessary to have a good running bike, but in this case he is going from a raptor to a banshee. raptors are SOHC that produce power from idle all the way on up. banshees are NOT like this. they do lag on the bottom end, plain and simple. he may have a slight jetting issue, but thats not gonna make it run like his raptor. sounds to me like hes describing what every new banshee owner experiences. its not a jetting issue.

  20. ok, ill do it.. only cuz i like you dave.
  21. i dont think they are terrible, just not the most popular.. i didnt know you could still get them. i think your new jetting specs sound about right. 27.5 def on the pilot and 320 would be a good start for your mains.
  22. i actually thought the head nuts were 22 pounds. you dont have to torque the studs. just get them snug. once you put the head on and tighten it down, the studs will tighten up even more.
  23. i would still run vf3 over stockers ported. theres a reason vf3 are the most popular reed out there and the one that most serious builders recommend the most. ported stockers might be fine, but until i see some dyno sheets proving they can be made to make as much or more power than vf3, ill be sticking with my vf3's.
  24. most banshees have a light switch powerband. they will be kinda sluggish on the bottom end, and then once about 6000 rpm hits, they start running like a bat out of hell.. this can be cured with porting geared towards more the bottom end. pipes, reeds, and different sized domes can also affect this. basically, without spending some money on your bike, youre stuck with the type of power it makes.
