  1. what happened to your clutch? and whats that thing on the right?
  2. nylon all the way.
  3. i would not run those older style keihin carbs. go with the PWK series in either 33 or 35mm and youll be happy.
  4. yz250f for sure. broader more manageable power for trails and track. the yz125 is a weak underpowered bike. you gotta keep those things revved to the moon to make them move. i think youll like the yz250f a lot better.
  5. angel, so what did you vote for? i guess i should make the poll a multi option one because it seems like some guys have had more than one happen.
  6. VF3 and be done with it. youll have the best and youll never need to upgrade. more than you need?! you can never have too much power.
  7. i believe the port timings have to be lowered since youre moving the cylinders back down 2mm. they will have to be reported. who is your builder? sounds like they took the easy way around having to port your cylinders correctly for use with cut domes.
  8. im going in april with bbcmudfuck..
  9. blessedwithdeath seems to think that by watching your swingarm and carrier bearings will negate the need for a case saver. he thinks that by neglecting them, you will throw chains.. so i wanna know who here has had a chain break or thrown due to bad bearings, because i think hes a retard and his theory is ridiculous. i feel that bad bearings is far less likely to make you break or throw a chain than any of my other choices.. i threw a chain once due to breaking a front sprocket into 5 pieces... EDIT: i changed it so that you can vote for more than one. it seems several people have had more than one happen.
  10. i would say most people do not chop them due to the fact they dont want to waste the plugs. some people also may not have the tools to cut them. i would say most people do a WOT plug test and check the electrode. i have never done a plug chop and never will. my bikes have always run strong.
  11. he started it.
  12. start a poll retard. find out whats more common.. chain coming off from bad bearings or from something else. to tell someone that they dont need a case saver simply by making sure their bearings are good is ridiculous.
  13. swingarms and axles shifting arent the main cause of chains coming off.. youre far more likely to break a front sprocket, which i have, or get a stick or rock caught up in there. worn out chain sliders and rollers are far more likely to cause a chain to come off. absolutely your chain should be adjusted properly, but bad bearings arent nearly as likely to cause a chain to come off. whats with the name calling? youre a dick.. i just got a PM from some sissy saying youre an asshole.
  14. if it helps you sleep better at night thinking about me and some other dude, which i find a little disturbing, by all means just go ahead and think about it.
  15. wtf do the bearings have to do with not needing a case saver? good bearings will not keep a chain from coming off and breaking something.
  16. i would never under any circumstance run a spacer plate setup. the one time i did, was from passion racing, and that shit was junk.. never again. do it right and have your cylinders ported correctly and run the cut domes.
  17. china will fuckin whore them out at $20 per tire.. im sure youll still be able to get them.
  18. its ok.. i can take the heat as long as you keep taking the meat.
  19. they are clowns.. thats why i said dont be one. i can remember the last banning, but i bet you cant. probably because it was before you ever joined the site. well at least youre man enough to say in loud and proud on the forums.. whoever PMed you needs to grow some fuckin hair on their sack.
  20. id build a jump. then run the tecate off it in 5th wide open. get video. report back.
  21. what color?
  22. yes they will. NOSS head actually makes those for modquad. the PD and NOSS domes are interchangeable.
  23. i put my balls on my pipes.. if they burn on impact, its ready to go.. if not, i give it a few and try again. that guage looks nice. id run one, if i thought i really needed one.
  24. why would you chop a plug anyway? there is no need to do a plug chop to get your jetting spot on.
