  1. all i know is that verizon is busting att's ass with these 3g commercials.. if verizon pulled the iphone, i see att going downhill quick.
  2. show us a mock up JD. that might help you sell the idea.
  3. now thats a massive motor. anyone see all the clutch baskets in the last pic?
  4. i just got a lead on a guy that does some nice shit with hats. my cousin hit the dude up, so as soon as i talk to the guy we will get the ball rolling.. im wanting to do red and black for sure.. possibilities would be grey, blue and camo..
  5. thats what i was planning on.
  6. mull engineering is a top notch machine shop. i think they can handle your head work just fine considering they machine parts for the aerospace industry.
  7. Guys we now have the sponsor link up and working. It is to the right of the sponsor banners right under the search box. By clicking on this it will send you to the sponsor page that is on the BansheeHQ home page. Now, you can easily find the numbers and websites for all the BHQ sponsors easily. I would like to take this time to let the BHQ Sponsors know how much I appreciate them and their commitment to being the absolute best site sponsors around. HQ has come a long way in the last 8 months and I appreciate the sponsors being patient with me during the process. I would also like to thank BHQ Members who support the site, either by buying from the sponsors, becoming a Premium Member or by buying BHQ Apparel. Every little bit helps when running a site as high trafficked as BansheeHQ. More features to come. We are currently still waiting on the release of the Arcade for IPB 3.0. As soon as it is out, we will have it. We should also be getting some other smaller features in the near future. Onward and upward!
  8. logo would be the same as the HQ shirts. FRONT: BHQ Banshee Headquarters BACK: www.bansheehq.com
  9. dogg, have you seen this?? ugly drag bike = a lot better looking that this.
  10. haha wtf
  11. yea, i heard that dudes a chump too... oh wait, wheres the hate thread?
  12. its not that we dont like banshees, its just that many feel they have their purpose, as do the 450's. for going straight, whether it be up hill or on flat ground, theres nothing out there thats gonna touch a banshee. dollar for dollar, you just cant do it. for the tight, technical shit, the 450's cant be beat. my banshee has elkas all the way around on it. it rides awesome, but i still feel that i can go faster on my 450, aside from running in a straight line. theres a reason that the new 450's dominate mx, gncc, tt, etc.. i think the main reason may not even be so much suspension as it is rideability. the 450's just dont wear you out nearly as much. that said, kfz400, ltz400 and 400ex are all fucking slow ass turds.. i like this discussion. lots of good points in here. im not sure it would help anyone decide on what to buy, but theres some good stuff in here.
  13. check the sponsor spotlight section. tim has a new dedicated shop number. its like the first or second post.
  14. you got a price? you can use your member gallery to upload pics. just make sure they arent massive. try to get them around 600x400.
  15. todd, i got the shock painted and on.. realized it was way too stiff for me. the bike wouldnt squat about 2 inches with me on it. i called elka and gave them the serial number. that shock was built in 2003 for a +14 swingarm and 220 pound rider. no wonder it didnt go down when i got on it. for $105 they are sending me a dual rate setup for my weight.. still, not a bad deal at all.
  16. id prolly stick with the 2-4 or get a 2-5. at the hillclimbs i just dont need any more than that. cameron at redline racing cut the one i have now, but i would feel comfortable buying an override from any of the site sponsors.
  17. all i can say is that unless youre riding a sundahl framed banshee, im gonna eat you up in the sand or trails on my stock yfz450. banshee suspensions simply cant handle what even a stock 450 suspension can. sure, you can tie up a ton of money in aftermarket shocks for the banshee, but bottom line the 450 will still be easier to control and will wear you out a hell of a lot less.
  18. ive had a +6 on my 10mm cub banshee bike for like 4 years now. ive gotten so used to it i can whip my bike around with no problem. id say +4 or +6 will be fine for duning. at first, it might seem long, but its really not. id have no issues getting around anywhere with a +6.
  19. id just grab some cheap 10w40 at any auto parts store.
  20. mine is a 1-N-(2-4)-5-6 everything is in the same spot as stock. i never use 5th or 6th gear so i dont have to worry about them. the only reason ive ever used 5th is when i was at the dunes. even then, i still didnt get into 6th. my duneable is actually pretty old. ive had it for almost 5 years now. back then they werent even offering a lot of the stuff they are now. i only need 2-4 at the hillclimbs anyway. i read some foul shit about WCR. not sure id trust them.
  21. NEVER go by the clutch arm and arrow on the case. they are different in different motors. mine doesnt line up at all.
  22. Id have to disagree with pretty much everything you said here. my first yfz450 was a 2004 model. i bought in in january 2004 and rode the piss out of that bike until march of 2006 when i sold it. during that time, i had the valves checked once sometime in 2005 and were fine and i put a new piston and rings in it right before i sold it. that bike ran like a champ and i ride the fuck out of my bikes. my second yfz450 i bought was a 2006 that i bought march of 2006. its got countless hours on it. its been to the dunes 3 times and on a ton of other weekend rides. i finally broke down and had the valves checked in december 2008. they were all fine and required no shims. in march 2009 i finally put a piston in it, not because i thought it needed it, but because i was bored. its been running strong as hell ever since. my bikes dont sit. they get ridden and ridden hard. i change the oil in these bikes 2 times a year at most. i never put a clutch in either bike. the yfz450's are BULLETPROOF.
  23. word. the 450 is by far the more versatile bike. ive had a banshee now since 2001. ive had a yfz450 since 2004. if i had to give one up, its gonna be the banshee, even though its faster, more fun to ride and it looks cool. its just not nearly as well rounded as the 450.
  24. i personally would stay away from the 450 front end. its not that good of a setup for the banshee. an aftermarket/shock setup will be much better for your bike.
  25. nah, theyre boys.. dana flew out personally to check up on brock after he collapsed.
