Your stator could be faulty. Also, the TORS system. Are you positive you disconnected the TORS module which is located under the fuel tank on the left side of the bike next to the coil? You can disconnect everything else on the bike and if this isn't disconnected, your at square one. Are you sure your getting fuel? Are the carbs clean? All the connections correct, tight and clean?

Man, it's only $125 for all three. I don't know who quoted that price??????? You save $5 if you do all of them at once..... $65 for the flywheel, $40 for the head, and $25 for the shift star. Totals $130. $125 if you want them all..... Shipped no later than the next day.....

I Wanna Rebuild Your Kicker For Free!

Thanks Dave!!!!! I will be waiting. But I won't be home untill next Monday... Thanks again!!! -
I will only run Wiseco Pro-Lite pistons. Wiseco makes Vito's pistons for him. So, they are alright. I would never run a Pro-X piston. They are cast, just like a stock piston. I am not gonna get into an argument on this again, just stating my opinion.

Shave the head, lighten the flywheel and mod the shift star. All can be had for $125 including shipping. Wakes up the bike, more throttle response, and easier shifting and locating neutral. How can you go wrong?

This is soooooooo very true!!!! On an un-groomed trail, it is sickening how bad the ride can get. And ATV's aren't the cause.....

Mooney, caps lock button. It is located right next to the "a" key, and directly under the "tab" key. You need to locate this. And use it.
-
You can mod the edges with a bench grinder if you wish, BUT, you cannot do the neutral backcut with anything less than a milling machine and a carbide end mill. It's up to you. Shifting will improve when rounding the corners, but neutral will still be a PITA.

What you need is an electric actuator and a remote solenoid setup. You would have to run power to the are where the gate is, and put up a small electric panel to house the control unit. It isn't all that expensive, and it is definitely something you should be able to do yourself. How wide is this gate, and how far do you want to open it? You need to figure out your mounting points for the cylinder, and then measure the stroke that you will need. Then you can shop for the correct unit...

I heat my garage which is 20'x24' with a 45,000 BTU kerosene torpedo. In 1/2 hour, it's 70 degrees. No insulation in there. And no matter what the outside temp is, it is t-shirt time. I have a low ceiling however, and the fumes get stinky. But, I have been out there when it is -10 outside, and been in the t-shirt. Without a problem.... It runs for 11 hours on 5 gallons of kerosene. I am looking right now for a natural gas space heater, because I have natural gas plumbed in there. When I build my new shop, I will be heating with propane.

On a stock sleeve, you can go to .100" over. And it won't blow out. but, a safe bet is .080" over. At .100" over, overheating often plagues you....

I have been running valvoline gear lube, 80-140 in the summer.....

150 MPH?? LMMFAO!!! It takes everything that a 600cc sport bike has to get to 150... And a four wheeler, with non speed rated tires is going to crack 150? oh boy.... These people are idiots.... I don't understand why they friggin' pull this nonsense. yep. (going back to the lady whimpering about not knowing the dangers) You have got to be kidding me. Kid has no experience. Shouldn't have been on one, and I'll bet she won a lawsuit. I swear there should be the idiot ruling in which someone looks at a case, and just says, "nope, this one is bull shit" and ten fires it into the shredder. The common sense ruling. I really hope that people aren't as stupid as they claim to be...... God help us if they are.....

Tungsten!!! Congrats man!! You're only a stone's throw away, and you better be coming to my housewarming party, and I'll be sure to attend yours. (that is, provided I'm invited?? ) There will be plenty of shees and other bikes at my house this spring. The new investment looks pimp!!!! My wife and I just bought ours in November. I love it!!!! I need to get my new shop up in the back however. You get any property with it? You got to be stoked. I know I was!!!

Led, I quit on the way to my wedding. I had been telling my now wife that I quit, and I didn't. Well, on the way to my wedding, I threw my pack out the window and never fired up again. Although it helped going on our honeymoon for a week right after, so I really couldn't smoke anyways, The first few days are brutal, and then, you will cough shit up repeatedly for a week or two. Then, you will be a happy man!!!! it isn't as hard as you make it out to be...... It is tough, don't get me wrong, but you can do it. I did.

Without getting into the Aviation fuel disasterous argument, you will need race fuel with 19cc domes. BUt, grab yourself a compression guage and check for yourself. Also, while your at it, check your squish as well. These two factors can most of the tme determine your octane requirements. If you do in fact have 160 at 3,000', you will most certainly need high octane fuel....

It sounds like your lean. Judging by your explanation that it "sounds like it will go" but then falls out of the powerband tells me something isn't right with fuel delivery. "zingy" revs and not having power is a sure tell tale that you are lean. Like the bike seems to rev alright, but when you need the power, it just is't there. You may have clogged a jet, or partially clogged it. And if it has been this way long enough, you may have melted your new top end down already. You need to clean the carbs, and check your jetting. Did you change anything since you got it? Like pull the airbox lid? change air filters? Elevation? Temperature change? the air is colder now and more dense. This will lean everything out.... You need to post your jetting info. Such as elevation and where you are at now. You can check out the Banshee jetting FAQ. I doubt it is electrical.....

Not only did you kill your smellhound, but you frigged up the bike. That sucks.
