  1. Don't worry about your parking brake. I see from your pic that you have a TORS removal kit. I just hope that you unplugged the TORS module under the tank adjacent from the coil. Your jetting sounds lean, but this depends on your elevation and temp. I'm thinking wround 310 or 320 at least to start with. Especially with no lid. And you need straight race fuel, no doubt about it with that kind of compression. Trust me, it ain't worth the risk of blowing a hole in the piston. That's alot of compression to be running as well. I would seriously consider bumping that down.. Now, You also say .075" bored over. That is a number I have never heard of before. Who did the boring, and what kind of pistons are in it? Also, check the connections at the coil. (the orange wire, and the black wire).
  2. I am running Aurora rod ends. I think they are Aurora brand? I made my own tie rods and rod ends...... Works fantastic........
  3. My vote is definitely for June.
  4. What you lookin' for Benny? SOmeone that can get them printed?
  5. Did you re-jet after you switched pipes? What do the plugs look like? It does sound as though you have a clogged jet, bad reed, or a loose connection..... Check the primary wires on the coil... (the orange and black)
  6. I was just gonna say the same thing!!!! Leakdown test BEFORE YOU CRACK A BOLT on that thing. You ned to determine the problem before you do anything.... it is absolutely necessary. An air leak sounds valid. What do the plugs look like? Do they have any aluminum on them? Did you use new gaskets on the cylinder intakes? You also could have sucked a reed in, but I don't think that would lock up the motor..... You could have also threw a bearing in the crank, or a rod bearing.... Could be alot of things.... Pull the stator cover and see if the motor will rotate backwards.....
  7. Clymer manual. It will explain alot in short amount of time.... You need to get all the peripheral equipment off the motor. Clutch, flywheel, stator, top end. It all needs to come off. Then, with the case bolts out, I take a dead blow hammer, and tap on the rear engine mount. This starts the seperation. Once it seperates from that point, it comes apart easy.....
  8. Ton, I tried to view the vid, but it only got to where your hand grabs the basket and stopped....... Take the o-rings and throw them out. You don't need them... Get a new clutch kit, and throw it together. DOn't forget to soak the fiber plates in oil before you put them in......
  9. If the cylinder is fulll of fuel, it won't start..... Pull the plug out, and fire the bike up on the other cylinder.. THis should clear out the cylinder.... Check the compression on that side. COmpare it to the other side..... If compression is good, and you have spark, than it should fire when you throw fuel into the equation. reeds wouldn't be a bad thing to check either as aforementioned....
  10. Bummer. Mapquest tells me it's like 5.5 hours or some shit.........
  11. Hell yes. I'm up for a NY get together...
  12. The timing chain was one thing I was gonna mention. There are some folks over at www.ramchargercentral.com who may be able to help if this is not the case....

  19. Dave, the "knob" I was speaking about is for Auto insurance. And yes, every area is different. Automobile insurance sucks. And so does homeowners. My homeowners is actually cheap though. $400 a year. And if they ever try not renewing my homeowners because of my ATV or my pooch, you can bet your ass I will have an "accident".... And I was speaking about my home state, I even said:
  20. I have several baby seals. but they are all being "used" right now....
  21. I am running FMF reeds. I did have a brand new one break in half after about 5 hours of use. It didn't break completely, and was still there when I pulled the intake off. It didn't fly into the engine.... Which is a good thing. I haven't had a problem since. but, I wasn't running reed stops either....
  22. Yep. And with our luck, it will be dry as a bone, so the friggin sweat, coal dust, oh boy. This is gonna be cool!!!!!!! I'll definitely have to check out that lake that Denny talks about!! And a motel nearby for the wife and kid(s)...
  23. I know what I was gonna do about ROostfest, but time wasn't on my side. Now, everything is going good.... All I could do was LMFAO about it. But only to keep myself from crying because I missed a wicked good time!!! I don't know why June didn't get picked. Perhaps peeps don't realize how african hot it can get up here in the East.... We'll see. It's not too long of a drive for me. Maybe about 8-10 hours from my house. We'll caravan down there if you want to stop at my place for a quick lunch....
