Now, my wife has an LG phone. One of the simpler models. I don't remember the specific. I think like a 3500 or something. I'm not too fond of the menu's and what not in it. It is a PITA to navigate. But, this 6000 series phone, has a kickass menu setup and program list. it has a bit of memory. And the speed dial numbers are seperate and programmable. You can program multiple numbers under one name. They are easy to find. With the motorola phones, you can't start spelling the name. You get the first letter, which gets you to the start of that letter in the list, and that's it. With this phone, you can start spelling the name, and then scroll to it, unless your already there.... it has some kick ass features, and I just got a data USB cable and data pilot software on the way for it. With that, you can set up your phone list, and download it to the phone. Much easier than keying it in. Along with alot of other things. it didn't cost me hardly anything. $35 for the phone. I figured what the hell. I'm glad I did. it is loud as fook. gets great reception. I would recommend it to anyone. My ol' man, who is a consumer's guide freak, told me that the 6000 is rated #1. I understand why. t is an excellent phone so far. Now granted, time will have to tell, but sooo far, it kicks some serious ass.,

What is your elevation? 4500'???? 260 mains with pipes???? That is hella lean. You may have loosened up a wire as aforementioned, or you could also have clogged the pilot jet.....

Not gonna beat it up. No need to. And the fix for the ball and rod is to not pull in the clutch for more than a second when moving.... Or, just don't bother using the clutch....

I got an LG6000 camera phone that you warned me about stoy. I actually think it is much easier to find a phone number than almost every phone I have had. You can spell out the name, instead of just being able to use the first letter like most phones.... There is also two direct ways to get into the contact list. You can set speed dial numbers seperately from the order the names are programmed. it is loud. I am half deaf, so this is a necessity. I also drive battle wagons that scream and howl when you drive down the road. The holster is a little odd, I am fumbling with it currently. But, I will get used to it. I don't really care about the camera feature(s), but it was $25 more than the phone I was gonna get. (LG V4500) so I figured WTF. Now i'll always have a camera with me when I need to take a snap shot.....

now this is what i'm talkin' about!!! I would get one off of Ebay, but I have two of them already, and I am sick of having to carry around extra antenna's with me everywhere i go. It is such shit. This last time, the phone is super glued together, has been to the bottom of lake erie, and still ticks. But, the antenna is brroke yet again. I figure there has to be something out there. I am thinking along the lines of a samsung A530S or an LG 4500 or 4400. We'll see. I am leaving in a few minutes to take care of this horse crap. Tell me about it. I am pissed I can't get another one. They offer a refurbished startac i think, but I can get a free phone. New every two is the promotiion with Verizon, and I have been with them for 4 years. SO, I guess it's about time.... I LOVED my startac. But, there has got to be something out there that is as good. Maybe I'm wrong? Also, I'm more looking for phone model here. I threw the service provider question in there because different providers have different phones. I have verizon service.

Hey folks. Slight dilemma. My Startac finally shit the bed. I guess it couldn't take all the abuse I gave it... What service provider do you have, and what model phone do you currently use. I am in the market for a new phone. I got a Motorola V60 and it shit the bed the second day I had it. It is going back today and i will be going for a different model. Sounds like the coil wire on the primary side is screwing up. (loose connection). Check that out. Perhaps a bad reed. Or, lack of fuel. First, I would check the connections on the coil. Then, clean the carbs.

Not at all. What happens is that the cam wheel sits in the "crotch" or 'saddle" between the peaks. When you mount up a modded star, this is readily apparent. Machining down the peaks of the star, lessens the amount of travel the cam wheel has to go to let the shift drum rotate and put you in the next or previous gear. It doesn't change the holding power of the star to hold the drum in place, it lets you rip into the next gear, or calmly find neutral!!!!

If the pic doesn't show up, (because Imagestation has issues) just right click the pic, and paste it in your browser. Be very careful if you use a dremel for this mod. I use a vertical milling machine and a carbide end mill. Doesn't get any more precise than that.

I have no idea where that one is going bigairee, but on a leakdown, you MUST plug the other side. THe carb inlet, and the exhaust. Is your jetting the same yellow? Are the carbs squeaky clean. You need compressed air and carb or brake cleaner. Take the jets right out and clean everything. Also, look for a torn boot. It does happen.

I'm not quite sure what you are driving at here. A LR crank is a +5mm longer rod length. The stroke doesn't change. Wiseco makes a "795" series piston which sets the wrist pin 5mm higher in the piston to accomodate the longer rod length. No case work is needed for this crank. I run one. I know. Now, for a 5mm stroker crank, you will need slight trenching of the case. you can drop in a 4mm, but not a 5. Porting will be needed to fully achieve the power gains of a stroker, but not needed on the LR crank.

Do NOT launch in 1st. Wind it up, and dump the clutch. Practice some starts. If you are hooking up, you will notice it because the front end will be in the air some. 1st gear winds uup wayyy too quick. You will be looking for second when you're 10 feet out. The other guy will be pulling you already and then you take a chance on hitting neutral. No Way. not gonna happen if you start in second. Even if you have to feather the clutch a little, it's still ALOT better than lighting off in first...

It sounds like you have an air leak. Check around the intake boots, (the black rubber things that are in between the carb and the cylinder) for cracks or a loose clamp on the bottle inlet.

There was much sicker shit than that..... All in all, in the end, it was kind of a twisted ending..... Don't buy spring water.........
