Too cool!!! The pic of JT's wheeler, is with my ski setup. And the comment of is very far from the truth. My bike ripped in the snow. I laid a whoopin' to a few sleds. in a field, the story changed. But, in trails, I had no problem. On the kit, I got some MXZ spindles, some whooped banshee spindles, and cut and welded things untill they were pimp. Worked like a charm. Minimal carbide(s) are needed. I think there were 10" carbides on the skis I ran, and it was too much....

How to say I DONT WANT YOU ON MY QUAD

My wife doesn't even ride my shee. Has never even swung a leg over it. The thought of it just plain scares me. She isn't able to control a shee. BUT, anyone else that, (like Walt implied) has a half a brain, and I can see they know what's up, can feel free to go for a rip. If you have an equal bike to mine, than take mine for a ride. I let ANYONE who asked at Coalfest go for a ride. They all came back grinning ear to ear. Except for my clutch pull. Which is, for a lack of better words, not for the feeble forearmed. You come off my bike looking like Popeye. Either way, Alot of people have ridden my bike. -
I don't have a template, but the pics are very accurate. It's not rocket science, or porting for that matter...... It's just making things a little easier to move....

Very strict, if you don't have a forest stamp, you won't get in, unless it's in the back of the truck.

You can have him port it for free, but I bet that a monkey could do a better job with a butter knife. Seriously, save some scoots, (money, $$$) and get it done by a reputable shop. It is well worth it....

I hate to get into a religious batle. BUT, it boils down to who believes and who don't believe. The non-believers think they are being forced into things. (think about prejudice for a moment) You want something to bitch about. So you decide to not believe, and then cry persecution because religion is being "forced" on you. Bull shit. NOTHING is forced on you. Money can say whatever the hell it wants to. Well, not what it wants to, but what the government wants it to. Believers aren't forcing anything down your throat. Well, except them bastards that bother you at supper time, and the moron who goes into the gas station and passes out his rhetoric and propaganda pamphlets.... To those who don't believe, "If you don't like it, change the channel..." It's as simple as that.... Noone drags your ass into church. Noone is forcing you to give $$ to them... You are free to do what you want. BUT, this country was founded on religion, and people came here for religious freedom. That, is a hard fact..... And cannot be changed.... And as for my view, I went to a Catholic school untill the 5th grade. Got out of there, and raised hell in the public schools. I believe in something out there. Prove me wrong.... It's a he said she said battle. Without the bible, the world would be chaotic. Watch the movie Stigmata. One of my favorites. I love that flic. Some serious shit in there...... The Church of today, isn't nearly what it was 1,000 years ago...... It's a "non-profit" organization.... I can pray in my own house just as well as I can pray at church....... -
Something isn't installed corrctly. That's for damned sure. In the clymer manual, it details how to adjust it properly. Also, is it shifting, is it not disengaging? Is it a clutch problem, or a shifter problem? I doubt you could mess up the shift star without some serious misguided effort. And $50 is a ludicrous price. I can get you a brand new modded star for under that... Not just a mod... Man oh man..... How people survive without spending a few moments to lok around at different options.....

hey boon, what ya trying to say????? we can meet when ever you want. ride, talk whatever?????? Shelby, I was saying that if someone lives close to me, and ripped off an HQ'er, I would be lookin to find them. But, I don't think you ripped him off. I'm not lookin for you. (except to maybe ride... ) I trust people on here prolly more than I should. I ship things out, with no $$ in hand, on good faith I will get it.... I give things away, if I have them to give.... I try to help people out when possible. I feel ALOT of poeple operate on the same principles I do. It kills me to hear of someone allegedly ripping someone off. But, like I said, in this case, I don't think you are in the wrong. Noone is really wrong... Just a misunderstanding...... I Have fucked up some parts in my day. I made good on them. I could have sent them back, knowing that they wouldn't perform up to snuff. And then just blamed it on the end user, my customer... I don't. Noone deserves that. I screwed up. I eat it....... Nick, buck up partner. I don't think Shepby is in the wrong.... -

I live near Shelby, and although I haven't ever rode with him, I would for sure be on the lookout for an ass whoopin, had he crossed someone on the HQ. Howvere, I don't see that as the case. It is a short drive for me, and a long road for him. Not choosing sides, just need some more info here. I dunno, someone on here is right, and someone is wrong.... 2 sides to every story... -
If it smells sweet, you are burning coolant. If it smells like A Sewer, you have a crank seal leaking, and are burning tranny oil.....
-
As long as the shaft shows no wear, you should be alright. Provided the bearing is in good shape as well

I have shipped to some peeps in the Netherlands a few times. I am not an ATV shop, but I can hook you up with some things.....

Long live the PC!!!!! I will NEVER go Mac!!! And it seems I heard that line with a few different words before there Jimm!!! ?? Glad to hear you got it in anyways. Even if it is a Mac....
-
Tats, sorry to hear of the recent misfortune. If it's going to go down, sell out now. Sell everything. You were married 3 years. In New York state, even if it's in your name, it's still half hers. Yoiu wll get fucked. ANyways, There is NO reason to not have kids. Unless you can't sup[port them in the way that they should be supported. I hope everything goes quickly. Drawn out shit sucks. I would say I hope it goes well, but I know it won't.
-
Sorry to hear that, being that youcould have fixed the bike for under $300. You have some minor problems there. Bummer to see you do that. I guess some people are just that impatient........ Perhaps next time, you won't be like that, and you'll fix 'er up the way it was meant to be....
-
Yes, you may attach a file up to 50Kb. Look unber the reply window. Where it says file attachments..... If you don't have a vertical mill, don't know what one is, or whatever, don't attempt to backcut neutral. That is a $20 mistake.....
-
If they only used screwdrivers, I doubt they fooked up the flywheel. But, if hammers were involved, that's not good. Also, what were they doing? Prying against the case? Not good either. A puller is about $10. You need one nayways. So get one....

Scott, that completely sucks. I cringed when you told me about it. I have ben through the identity theft thing, more than once, (for those that may remember some older posts...) And it keeps coming back once in awhile to haunt me. Fraudulent checks is one thing. But when I as going to buy our house, and My credit came up all shitty, (and that is one thing I NEVER mess with) I wigged out. I have been very diligent on shit since I as little. Never had a problem. And to the rotten SOB that stole my shit, if I ever find them/him/her, I will likely do some damage that they won't soon forget. It has been a pain staking few years...... And every time it comes up, I almost cry..... Good luck my man. At least there is a paper trail, and you have a likely suspect. Feed that mexican biotch some fraudulent tacos.....
-
Also, look for a distinct smell of shit. tranny oil smells like shit when it burns. what color is it? Also, you tore it all down? what did you use to seal the cases back together? Did you use all NEW gaskets? Lube the seals properly? Clean the carbs out? Are the reeds broke? Could be alot of things, but you were just in the motor, so that seems like a likely place, but could be a coincidence. You say you had equal compression. What was it? Did you use new rings? If you did, and didn't hone the cylinders, you can bet your ass that the rings didn't/may not have seated properly......
-
Where you located at? And how much you want for it. OR, if you want to fix it, I need a little more of what is going on. (like what is the problem?) Is the motor in the chassis, or is it torn down? You got spark? What is the issue?
-
I've had a aproblem with my bike since my last trip to Silver Lake. My shifter broke off. I can't find anything!!!! Bike is stuck in third!!!!! One of these days, I'll break away from it all, and weld it back up..... As to your problem, does your clutch disengage properly? SOmetimes, the basket can wear grooves, preventing the clutch from disengaging. Or, bent shift forks. The shift shaft could be adjusted a little out of spec in relation to the shift star. Sounds like you will have to atl east pull the clutch cover, have a peek, and possibly split the cases if everything looks kosher under the clutch cover......
-
Rounding the edges, improves the shifting. This can be done on a bench grinder. Or, you can use whatever you want. I sand them off, and then I throw it on a jig in the lathe, and make sure it's perfect. Then, I put it in a vertical mill, with a .500" solid carbide 2-flute end mill and backcut neutral .080", and .210" deep. Works perfect every time. Takes about 45 minutes for me to do a shift star. The "right" way. Feel free to PM me for more info......
