He has a trail port. I think slp would do him well. -

How much can you take off a flywheel?

I'm gonna guess that's the difference in having .020 and .100 taken off. -

I have not ran one but all the reading I have done seems to say that it makes it tough to keep the rpms up with less rotational weight. I suppose it may be ok for a drag only setup. I also read that with less weight that it does rev quite a bit faster. That being said I am scared of them. Too many carnage pics. -

http://slp.cc/catalog.cfm?pageID=detail&catalogID=11&productID=1703 There was some dyno runs vs fmf. I am trying to dig them up. I believe it was 8hp difference. -

He's talking about jds customs, a sponsor here. Look in the dyno room. I agree with Jesse there are better pipes out there. -

If it dynoed at 61 hp then a good set of pipes could bring him to 65-70hp. I would have the motor ported too. However if he isn't going to tear it down for a while then some pipes could wake it up until he is ready to tear it down. -

I agree with ^^^^^^ Get you some 916's or something of that nature and ride. It will give the balance you want and not screw with the motor. -

That's very smart of you for spending on suspension first. No need for 90hp if you can put it to the ground. -

Throw some dmc 916's or some slp( haven't ran them personally but hear good things) see how much more it wakes up. Is that a ported motor? -

People generally get the idea more power is what they want and buy drag pipes. When this happens they get sick of fighting the bike to keep it on the pipe in the trails and then they end up putting it in the barn and never ride it. Do Not talk yourself into thinking you don't trail ride all that much in hopes for that extra power in the four wfo runs you make a year. You will regret it. -
Go to a 300 main with a 30 pilot and a STOCK needle. I'm not a fan of toomey needles. Leave the lid of. Try this. This should get you real close. Probably end up with a 280 or 290 main. Back the 30 pilot out 1.5 turns. Also move stock needle back to middle clip

You have lean and rich bogs. A lot of times you will hear a lean pop.

I had them. They hooked well in a straight line and we're not too sticky to slide into a turn. I liked them very much and will probably get another set.

I have two sets of niche cylinders. Both unported and one set never bolted up.
