  3. Epoxy does not sound like a wise idea.... If it were mine I would want it tig welded and machined to size... That way it's all aluminum and no epoxy.. That could possibly break off and cause catastrophic engine failure.
  4. Don't forget to seal the key way on the clutch side of the crank with some import grey RTV! I'd mod the shift star, shift shaft, timing plate +4, shift pro detent, maybe cut the trans (pro-mod) and port match the top case half to match the transfer ports.
  5. Porting is the best bang for your buck.... I'd say a 4mill ported stock cylinder motor, set-up for woods riding would be right up your alley!

  11. I am running a 4mil aggressive dune port and it SMOKES 450's... It's not even a fair race... I'm usually pulling through the traps by the time they are at half track.... i'm doing it on a stock length swinger, traction is the only problem.... I launch in second and am spinning the tires till 4th gear....Once it stops spinning and comes on the power it wants to wheelie to the end of the track...I'm thinking about a gearing change for next season...

  14. LOL Finch reminds me of building my 347 stroker in the living room of my old apt. when I was 20! It was a bitch getting it down 3 flights of stairs! And the neighbors complained about paint fumes from painting the block! I had a fan in the window!
  15. I go through my entire bike in the winter... Not just the engine.... Check everything, anything that is not perfect, gets tore down and gone through.. I like my bike to be tight and finely tuned, it makes for a much better riding season. Plus if something is out of whack you'll notice it easier, if it's well maintained.
  16. Mobil1 0-20w that is what Tyson Racing told me to use, when i was having clutch problems... I change it everyother ride cheap insurance...
  17. I have a chromed stock axle you can have it for 50 plus shipping... It's not perfect the chrome is old and a little pitted... But the axle is perfectly straight, and the splines are good
  18. Pull your intake and check the reeds.. it will take literally 5 minutes..
  19. That sucks guys... What a douche bag! I knew buying mine from ATV Galaxy was the way to go.... They were not cheap, but i got exactly what I paid for, in 3 days.....
  20. You've got your work cut out for ya.... Get ready to blow through some, if not all of your savings... You're going to be 6 g's in really fast, if you want the bike to look as good as your frame... Good luck with the build!
