  1. i have a trinity w/p cover polished... it's not perfect, but looks good.. $35.00 shipped w/ a gifted paypal payment, or pay the fees.
  2. X3 yep^^^^ Welded ball... Get a new push rod, ball, and a pancake bearing
  3. Yeah no shit^^^ Is this bike runnung yet?
  4. Tricked, where do you ride at? Lake St.Clair?
  5. It was not the pick up tabs outside the flywheel... it was the magnets in the flywheel being broken.
  6. ^^^ what he said^^^^ The stator will absolutly cause problems if it isn't putting out enough AC voltage to the CDI... A bad flywheel can cause a severe driveability problem... I know because I chased an electrical problem until I for shits and giggles swapped out the flywheel! As an ASE certified master tech (auto/cycle) I know there are times when "parts changing" is warranted, in order to properly diagnose the problem... It helps to have a stock of known good electrical parts, to test with...
  7. More than likely it wasn't completely seated in the cases (squared up) Due to it not being torqued down completely.
  8. There are a few in the for sale section... Start PM'ing people.
  9. Bought his Hinson quick change clutch cover.. Paid on Thursday and recieved it Monday morning... The cover came shipped bomb proof exactly as pictured! I'm very pleased, and will buy other things from Joe in the future! Don't worry about buying from him he is an A-1 seller!
  10. Whats the chrome like on the +2 axle? Also what brand is it?
  11. Engine paint... I use Dupli-Color engine enamel, "cast coat aluminum" color... It makes the cases look like new cast aluminum.
  12. 4mil crank, 4 mil ported stock cylinders, Wiseco 795 series pistons, 4mil domes/coolhead or have the stock head rechambered, on stock carbs with good pipes and a timing plate is the way to go.... The sky is the limit really... Just remember... Speed has a price tag, how fast you go is dependent on how much your willing to spend.... A 4mil build with the supporting mods is around $1500 give or take... Thats if you already have decent pipes...
  13. It certainly is... it comes in 3/4 and 1" sizes
  14. The green high temp silicone hose that has an orange lining and 4 hose clamps... You can get it at most autoparts stores...
  15. staggered 3hd, 3 stock... It works good, i can ride all day and never notice the hard pull, but i'm running regular length ASV levers, with a new cable... The shortys just seemed like they'd be too much of a pull, for my liking... The slingshot is a good idea, but it will make it hard to shift without an override.. Lock ups are more for the drag guys that run overrides, and aren't clutching between shifts.
  16. Are R2's similar to CPI's and or Shearers?
  17. The carb is leaking fuel because either the needle and seat on the float is stuck, or the float level is too high. turn the fuel on and lightly tap on the carb bowl that is leaking if it's the needle and seat it will stop... if not you need to take it apart and see why it's leaking... should be obvious... try the 30 pilots, and 340 main.. set the pilot air screw at 1.5 turns out... Put the carbs back on the bike and sync them, then start the bike get it to idle first... You should be good from there unless you have air leaks... Do a few hard pulls once the motor is warmed up (20mins at least) Then pull your plugs and post a picture of them here.
  18. They work awesome... No need for a stupid expensive radiator... I paid about 80 bucks for mine and it works perfect...
  19. They are crimp on.
  20. MSD plug boots... MSD part #3311
  21. My thoughts exactly^^^ 9k? What did you do to it? I have maybe $6500 in my 1994 bike and everything is new... Plus a ported 4mil putting down close to 80hp.
  22. Mine was making the same noise last season.... I thought it was a bent shift fork, but after disassembly I found no obvious problems... I rebuilt the motor as a ported 4mil, had Tyson cut my trans, all new shift forks (for the hell of it), the noise is gone this season.... But, i'm getting alot of recipricating noise in the engine now, i disassembled the engine checked all the crank and rod bearings, piston clearance, everthing is good... I run it hard and it has not broke... The noise worried me until I heard other Banshee's make the same noise... Is this common?
  23. Not unless the domes are cut for a 4mill...
  24. I was running .50mm over (64.50mm) unported with FMF Golds, VF3's, PD coolhead 20cc, k&n pods, stock carbs 290main, 27.5 pilot, needle on middle clip, 1.5 turns out onthe pilot air screw. I ran this set up for 3 years, and every plug chop was a perfect chocolate color.
