  1. You answered your own question. Throw in new seals and ditch the "shim".
  2. Did you check your flywheel gap? Should be .018"-.02"
  3. I just put my bottom end together and all that is there is a bearing and an oil seal. I mean there's a half circle metal clip that holds everything in place, but that's it.
  4. Found the problem. I was just an idiot when I reassembled my bottom end, my clutch was waaaaaay out of adjustment. I readjusted it and it works like a charm.
  5. I'm looking for a rear brake pedal, shifter, a crossover tube, and the bracket that holds the clutch cable down on top of the motor. Please pm me with a price shipped to 48843. Also, for the crossover and clutch bracket I'd like to pay for overnight or 2 day shipping, I need them ASAP. Thanks guys.
  6. eBay usually has rims for a decent price if you want stock ones. You just have to ask for lots of pics and buy from reputable people. Or post a wanted ad on here.
  7. So I need a new thumb throttle assembly for my 89 shee. I seem to have misplaced the one i had lol.
  8. Rocky mountain has the cables, carb tops, and idle kit for like $48.
  9. Any advice on replacing the clutch actuator bearing if I have to? Also does it require splitting the cases?
  10. I don't have my clymer in front of me. Do I need to pop off the clutch cover and remove the center nut on the clutch? I tried taking it out earlier and it didn't want to and I had no intention of using any real force to get it out.
  11. I was installing my clutch perch and cable and noticed my cable was insanely hard to move. I spent about 10 minutes lubricating it and wiping off the nasty rust that the lube was getting out. It's pretty smooth now, but when I pull the clutch it hardly has any tension, and barely even retracts once I release the clutch. I checked the spring on the clutch mechanism on top of the case and it's fine, but the clutch mechanism that goes in the case doesn't move back and forth very freely. I don't know how easy it should move. I'm thinking that having that mechanism being sticky is my problem but what can I do?
  12. I need: Pipe hangers Rear skid plate (not stock) Front bumper (pref chrome, black)
  13. I'm looking for a billet impeller....
  14. All I need now is a key switch with housing with an early style plug.
  15. Sheerider1026 is the one who rebuilds stators, I'm pretty sure.
  16. Maybe, I'll see if I can find one with a housing first though
  17. I also need pipe hangers, I'm running SST's if it matters. I'd also be interested in some not stock headlights (not LED either).
  18. Here's what I need: -Front Brake Lines (From where they split to, down to the caliper) -Key switch with housing (Early style plug)
  19. Like the title says, I was wondering if the front caliper ever changed designs during the banshee production. I know essentially nothing has changed outside electrical and the frame. I don't know what year my calipers are from, so I just want to make sure before i buy a set of pads that don't fit.
