  1. Also purchased front brake assembly
  2. All of these have been purchased. Thanks Infamous
  3. I'm trying to finish up my build and wanted to see what you guys had out there so maybe I don't need to buy all new parts. My bike is an 87 frame and 92 motor. Here's what I need 1. Timing plate....adj or oem 2. Front wheel bearing kits 3. Steering Stem bearing 4. Complete Steering stem mount (With seals) 5. Full Gasket kit 6. Brake pads all around 7. Front brake lever with reservoir etc... 8. Head lights 9. Tail Light 10. Chain rollers, slide, and rear guide 11. Full body skid plates (let me know if you have partials too) 12. Exhaust hangers for sst's (not sure if they're same as stock) 13. Rear Grab bar If you can, send me prices shipped to 48843. Thanks in advance everyone.
  4. Sorry for the late feedback but the bushings and covers I got are sweet. I can't ask for anything better. Great price and fast to get the parts in the mail. A+ seller for sure
  5. Bump. I need the whole stator setup now too. Timing plate, stator, flywheel.......anyone?????
  6. Screw it. Im not 100% sure that's true though. Idk how much I can trust someones word. New seals for me.
  7. Even if the seals have less than an hour on them?
  8. Awwww ya thanks for the help guys
  9. Actually. Does it even have to come off if I'm just swapping cases? It doesn't look like it
  10. To start. I don't have an impact otherwise this wouldn't be an issue. I'm removing the primary drive gear nut off the clutch side of the crank but can't get it. How in the F am I supposed to get this thing off. Im too afraid to use any tools to hold the gear/crank from spinning. Any suggestions? And of course my clymer just says 'loosen the primary drive gear nut' lol. Any suggestions are appreciated
  11. My first choice is to find someone who is skilled enough to recoil my stator and do full repair. I may also just get a used oem stator. I need a 87-94 model. Let me know if you have a working oem one or if you can repair mine.
  12. Ah ya, i knew i was forgetting something. I'll be running 93
  13. I'm building my first shee and really don't know much about the advantages/disadvantages of advancing the timing. My motor is stock stroke and .080" over (so it's on its last leg). I have the basic bolt ons like pipes, reeds, pods. I already need to buy a new timing plate so should i get an adjustable plate and go +4 or leave it stock? I mostly do trail riding and some WOT stuff on back roads.
  14. No longer needed! thanks infamous

    Rear Hub

Looking for 1 stock rear hub, preferably with 4 good studs in it. I may be interested in 2 aftermarket ones too, depending on price.

    Front tires

Like it says. I need some stock size front tires. Let me know what you have. Pics are good too
  17. Seems like a busy guy but still managed to give a fast response, fast shipping, and of course a great price. Great seller.
  18. From a science aspect. Heating the housing of the ball joint instead of the ball joint itself would seem more practical. It would loosen your rust and dirt (along with some penetrating oil) and would make your hole slightly bigger making things easier.
  19. Just checked my Clymer sunday on this. When you test your wires you are supposed to get around .26-.32 ohms........or something close to that
  20. Ohms law: I = V/R When resistance ® is zero you get infinite current. This is also called a short. It's the same thing as putting a wrench across your positive and negative terminals and watching the mass amounts if current arc everywhere. When R is infinite your current flow becomes zero meaning the circuit is zero. This is an open circuit. On a side note you should really never get a reading of zero if your circuit is complete because all wires and coils have an inherent resistance to them. Then again that number is generally really small so your ohm meter might not pick it up. I don't know much about states but I've done my fair share of studying in the electrical field. Just my .02
  21. In case anyone needs to know what thrust covers are (I didn't know what they were called til I checked my clymer) they are the caps that cover your bushings on your a/j arms. This is also my bump lol
