  1. Castor ftw. I'd buy that smell in cologne if I could, it gets the gf's panties wet lol
  2. I was thinking quad over triple.......
  3. Sale pending
  4. I'm looking for a set of stock cylinders. I'm going to send them out for a port job so if they need to be bored, that's fine. I would prefer either a recent bore, or a set that needs a bore. I don't want anything over .040" over. Pm me or txt at 517-861-0083. Thanks guys!
  5. Isn't the nikasil kind of a hassle and expensive to have cylinder work done on?
  6. I just got some works dual rates with rezzies, gonna send my rear off for a rebuild soon. But ya I like the sound of that!
  7. I'm riding around on an old .080" over motor. Clearly I'm waiting for it to blow up and build a new one. I'm looking for some input on what I should go with. Cub? 4mil? Etc.....I do mostly trail riding and some dirt road riding. I'm going to go with a trued and welded crank, but I'm Leary about the reliability of a 4mil, cub, or a 421. I am fine with how fast my shee is now with just bolt ons, so my main focus is reliability. And I know reliability is touchy, but be realistic. I do leak downs, squish, plug chops, so assume all that is good when you talk reliability.
  8. All I need now is a bumper, preferably PC black
  9. Also need a shifter and rear brake lever
  10. Looking for a nice PC black bumper, any stock position pegs, and a bleeder valve for a front caliper
  11. I would put your air screw to 1.5 turns to 2 turns out then leave them. The idle screws, I did mine by starting low, then starting it with the choke on and adjusting from there. Have you checked your plugs and compression? And have you made sure you are getting spark? Stator could have gotten dirty. Hopefully it's just something stupid to fix
  12. Get rid of the TORS. That's always a good start. Rockymountanatv has a nice eliminator kit for around $40. Well worth the investment. Also, check to make sure the choke tube is connected. Did this thing ever run before you cleaned the carbs? Or are you trying to find the starting issue?
  13. X2 for tapping on it. Use the handle of a screw driver and give it a couple good taps and turn the gas back on. It should stop.
  14. TTT still looking......
  15. Pm sent
  16. Forgot to specify. Everything is stock length.....
  17. I'm looking to upgrade my front and rear shocks on the old j arm shee. I'm about 185 lbs and ride mostly trails. Let me know what you have. I'm looking at around the $450 range or so to spend. Thanks!
  18. I have almost $1800 in it but ya, it's exactly how I want it. This thing is my baby now. Thanks to everyone here who sold me parts though! Otherwise I'd have a lot more $$$ into it.
  19. Dunlop quadsport tires. I like them a lot, especially for the price.
  20. Make sure you do a plug chop though. If you don't know how just search on here. It's been covered about 9,000 times
  21. Stock airbox setup I'd say 270 is close to what you need. You could do 280 and do a plug chop and go from there. Reeds don't require rejetting. If you have no lid on your airbox or no box at all, use even bigger jets to start with.
  22. What jets are in it now? What's your temperature and elevation?

    J-arm

I need a new j-arm. If your sitting on the bike it's the left side. I need one with a pretty good ball joint (which I know is a lot to ask cuz these things are over 20 years old lol). Let me know what you got. My zip is 48843
  24. First thing, never trust anyone selling a quad. The only way to test how "fresh" the rebuild is, is to do a compression test. A fresh rebuild is going to be on the 140 psi range. If he won't let you do the test, walk away. Maybe here in Michigan prices are way lower, but a 2800 dollar banshee is a pretty bad ass machine.
  25. My advice, don't pay more than 1100 if you REALLY REALLY want it. It's just not worth that much. New pipes will run you $600+ or $300+ used on here for something in good shape. These are simple machines but will eat a hole in your wallet in a hurry. $1900 is a pretty decent banshee that already had all the bolt ons. Also, as hard as it is to do, don't rush this. Take your time, do the research, and be patient. Rushing a buy usually just leads to regret.
