  2. haha, those are my gloves!!! Wait, those are my fingers, that's my video! When Adjusting the essentric screw, put the bike it a gear, don't matter what one, first or second is good. Loosen up the lock nut, remove essentric screw, throw away the folding lock washer, install new one, check the end of the essentric screw for wear, if there are grooves replace. Install essentric screw. Adjust shifter claw so that there is the same amount of space between the claw and the shift star pin on both top and bottom. Double check. remove shift shaft, Tighten nut while holding screw with flat screw driver. install shift shaft to make sure you are still good, its good, remove shaft, fold washer replace shaft, install new clutch cover gasket. bolt everything up, refill coolant, refill with favorite flavor of oil. run the shit outta that shee! Adam
  3. haha, Rule #1: Never let a girl sleep in your bed after sex unless you mean it, Never stay over unless you mean it. Rule #2: Never say I love you unless you mean it. Rule #3: Never sell a car to a friend. Rule #4: Never buy a car from a friend. Rule #5: Never loan money to a family member. Live by those 5 rules and there are a lot less drama in your life. Adam
  4. Rule #3 of my 5 Rules: Never sell a car to a friend. Rule #4: Never buy a car from a friend. Adam
  5. Best of luck, most of us have a lot of money tied up in our bikes and we always find something to go faster and things we need. Download the manual from my sig and it will give you a good head start on things. Watch what you buy from ebay, sometimes what is forsale here is cheaper. Fast racing has tons of parts in stock, as well as Wildcard. They ship faster than dealers and give you half the bullshit. I would recommend either of them to get any missing widgets you need. Post the parts you need in the forsale section and some of us will be willing to dig around the garage to make a buck here and there. Again, best of luck, not being a smartass here. The banshee is the easiest atv engine there is as the cases split horizontally. Adam

    Thanks quadpro. Adam
  7. Yes, that is where I would start. It is a safe setup! do a couple WOT runs and check the plugs to be sure. Adam
  8. Post prices on this shit or get the fuck outta here, this is not ebay. Post pictures people can see such as on photobucket too. If you cant follow the rules dont post.
  9. post a picture of your connections we can help you out. Adam
  10. ya, prices are a must. and put up pictures of GTFO! Photobucket is extremely hard, look around BHQ has a tutorial for it someplace
  11. When you first run it. Ifthe power band won't kick in with 320's then you are really rich. Drop down to the 300's and check plugs. I started a new motor and it was really fat, no powerband. Dropped down 40 and was great did a plug chop to find I was a tad rich could drop to 270, but 280 was safe. Adam
  12. Rootracing is awesome to deal with too! He ships quickly and sells all Chariot products! Highly recommended. Adam
  13. NOSS or Chariot. Pro design heads require a stud change. I have 20cc domes at sea level Adam
  14. Well I buy craftsman most of the time. I didn't know and I wante a new torque wrench. I have a snap on 1/4 inch lbs, a snapon 50-250 but my 0-250 is a beam type. I will try it and if it sucks I will return. Thanks to President Clinton and President Bush all our stuff is made in china. Now thanks to Pres. Obama we can never pay china off! Ok don't get me started Adam
  15. Have you pulled the flywheel cover?
  16. Ohm scale. Start hitting the 4 wires from the stator. I want to say .28 is good. But if there are 0's it's bad. You have anyone to do cdi swap with?
  17. Craftsman Torque wrenches are on sale this week for 39.99$. Click type 10-70 or 25-250# both 3/8 and 1/2 drives http://m.sears.com/productdetails.do?partNumber=00931423000P Adam
  18. Ground is under the silver box by the CDI
  19. Throw an ohm tester on your stator, if you get a reading it should be good. if it 0's out, bad stator. check pick-up gap, .020. try a good plug, seen them not fire before but never both at the same time. make sure your harness didnt melt to the pipe on the right side of the airbox. Best I can tell you without seeing it. Adam
  20. You should be around 27.5/25 pilots on anything that is stock. Mains should be 280, if you are lean at 300 there are issues. @Mustang, with those big pilots does it hesitate from idle? Adam
  21. Look up chain calculator Adam
  22. The reeds are carbon fiber. They are a little more brittle than boysen (sp?) reeds. I have been comtimplating going to chariot cages because of this. Mine are starting to fray also after about 30 hours Adam
  23. I would check the flywheel key. Just because you have a spark it might have a missing key and not firing at the correct time. Pick up gap @ .020. Pilots might be big but it should pop off. Do a leak down test. Check the reeds make sure they are good. 100lbs is enough to start on gas. I have seen them run strong at 90. If it still won't start you are going to have to take it apart and check everything. Build that serval yourself!! Call Jeff at fast and talk to him. He will get you straight Adam
  24. I would have bought them at lunch if they were up! Troy, wanna look at my red rockets?
  25. Ya being able to idle trails in 3rd or 4th just lugging around then hitting the gas and having the powerband jump to life and scream across an open field while your buddies on their (insert random 4stroke or banshee) bikes are still trying to get their motor to Rev up in 3rd. Mmm, the fun it will be!! Besides, we're American, we might as well have more power than we know what to do with!!
