  3. if I'm holding the carburetor upside down the float is pointed up at a 45 degree angle shouldn't it be level with the bowl? I've adjusted it before and it keeps working its way back to that position Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. i think my float is set wrong its now just dumping fuel out of the overflow hoses. ive set it before about level with the bowl and it keeps moving down. any suggestions? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. found the culprit. busted reed gasket. had a spare so i replaced that. now it wont even start. this carb looks like it's seen better days maybe time for a new one Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  8. i have a 97 banshee just rebuilt the top end to standard bore w a new cylinder stock port. previous setup was 22cc domes now running 20cc domes in the cool head. other mods are t5's and open intake. mixing cam2 50/50 with 93 @ 32:1. br8es plugs. 1000 ft above sea level. current jetting is 192 main 58 pilot and dek needle set 1 position in from blunt end. when i start the bike it just revs itself to the moon until i shut it off. whats a good place to start jetting wise? or could i have possibly done something wrong during the rebuild. ive built a cr250 so i have a basic idea of how it should be done. thank you
  9. thanks i'll have to check that out!
  10. I don't care whether or not its going to be running soon or not. i don't have to pay the mechanic so according to your calculations im paying 1600 for a freshly running shee with wicked drag ported cylinders, v3 reeds, and and a + 4 chrome extended swing arm. if you can find a running shee thats as good or better that for less, let me know. until then, stop being a jack ass
  11. finally a non-smartass reply. thank you!
  12. sorry that i dont have a couple thousand dollars sitting around to buy one. for $600 im willing to put in some money into a project to have a mechanic do the work. i need to know what parts to buy before i send it in, hence why i started this thread.
  13. sorry im not a small engine mechanic.
  14. I said it came with the cases, heads, crank, and cylinders. i know it will need a top end, transmission, and clutches. I don't know what else it requires thats why i asked.
