Nothing wrong with the dyna, but i´m not racing/drag racing with the shee. Got inner rotor setups with programmable boxes for the 70/180cc race tuned i ride with, but for the shee i´m not looking for such things.
Been a motcycle man for more than 20 years, own a few bikes including a lightly tuned suzuki gsxr 1000. This is my first quad, still don´t know if quads are for me, (i´d say yes cose i like everything thats fast), but just by know i´m trying to keep things in some kind of a budget if you know what i mind. If like quads i´be blowing money like with my other toys , just want to make sure.
From the scooter´s world, there is a cdi box with a wood key wich allows advance/retard with a good compromise of curve. Its just 50€, and its something i always use when building street setups for people who need to keep their lights.
Then there is another problem, i have to travel 1 hour to a MX shop to use their dyno, but no quad dynos around here, and using numbers from a simulator isn´t safe enough for me.
Rode my shee for five minutes and found it wasn´t runing fine even being the first one i´d driven, popped the head and found a ring had been chewed and no overbores since it was bought, pistons slapped like crazy . Bored to 65,5mm to get some free low end punch, Keihin 28s i get really cheap, and some basic porting, Waiting for tires and a cool head and domes, and was thinking about the cdi box.
Woah, end of rant!
