  1. Spurdy was faking being asleep.
  2. Send me pics to cburgess11.1@ netzero.com Also need info on crank and rods used with cylinders.
  3. Do a search on Jr dragsters and look on some parts suppliers sites. I've also made them using pillow blocks purchased a IBT. They are a bearing supply company.
  4. Put a set of reed spacers between the carbs and reeds. That will move the carbs back.
  5. I just bought the clutch components. Good guy to deal with. Don't be afraid to buy some parts from him.
  6. I agree, just get a book and TAKE PICTURES as u take it apart for reference when putting back together. The manual is very descriptive on parts but it doesn't hurt to have the actual photo. If u get stumped feel free to ask for help.
  7. I posted this on another thread, but I had the weld break out of my welded crank and tore my cases, piston and dome up. Take a magnet and see if there are any metal pieces stuck in your head or piston.
  8. Sponsor or not, junk is junk!!!!!! Do your research like your doing and the people on will help. Last weekend I had the weld break out of my 10 mil crank and basically shelled my motor except the clutch, stator side and tranny. It broke both cases and trashed the entire topend. Spend the extra bucks and save yourself a lot problems down the road. You have a way with words loco, that's some funny shit right there :-)
  9. Have u checked compression? What head is on it and have u checked the head gasket if stock or o rings if its a coolhead. I would pull the carbs apart and clean and or put kits in them. Think about that leakdown test as well. A bad seal on the crank well cause this. If you hit the filter with a small spray of starting fluid will it fire right up when cold? Lot of potential causes for this problem. And, if you can kick that thing a hundred and fifty times, your a bad ass.
  10. I have both. Pm me with a number and I'll call u.
  11. Do you have the rubber hose going between the 2 carbs for the choke?
  12. Buzz muffler at 51st and leavenworth rd in Kansas city, KS sells whatever fuel you need. Not sure on race gas prices but I buy alcohol for $3.50 per gallon.

I have one sitting on the bench. Pm me with your number.
  14. Both gear packs have them. The bearing next to the output seal and and the bearing behind the clutch basket.
  15. Funny guy!!! I'm trying to put another motor back together after my little misfortune at the track Friday night. Send me some parts.
  16. Like the title says. Im looking for cub intakes that will accommodate 41 mm carbs, V Force reeds, n down shift drum, cases trenches for a 10 mm crank, a10mm crank with 115 rods and other small motor components. Parts can be used but need to be in good condition. I have Banshee items the we can barter if you are looking for something. Pm me with info and maybe a # and I'll get in touch. Thanks
  17. There you go spurdy, giving people more to give you shit about.
  18. Send me some pics please.
  19. Send me a picture of the reeds. If they look good I'll take them.
  20. How did what go cam. You should load up that provost motor home and come to grain valley mo this weekend. Me and Scott will bring the gas powered blender.
  21. I think we may just slum it for a weekend and invade your tree'd spots. :-) One way or another, we will drink some ice cold beers. I'll see ya Friday afternoon. Hell, I still have both motors apart, I better get my ass in gear.
  22. Impact driver for sure on the bolts. There is a stud that screws into your case that the shift mechanism slides over that sometimes will break. It has a 17mm jam nut and a standard screw head on the stud. Check that. If that's broken the lever will move but not catch on the drum star.
  23. Find one of our sponsors that's near by you and call them. Use their experience and knowledge while supporting them as well. You can buy from them for the same money as buying an unknown crank off the web.
