I would check the clearance in the pickup coil and the impedance on both sides if the coil. Change plugs and /or check plug gap. If you have a Banshee book it will tell what the ohms should be on stator, pickup coil and coil. If u don't have a book let me know and I'll look it up for you.
If your waiting on inland atv to do the right thing, you better do something else. I had a bad experience with them over them sending me the wrong part and not wanting to make it right.
Buy that stuff from our sponsors not inland.
Does anyone know where I can buy the rubber boots for my T-Rex billet intakes. The have the 2 Allen bolts like the pro design setup. They need to hold 44mm Lectrons.
Forget the single carb idea. They are made for a pretty much stock motors with pipes and reeds. Once you get dual carbs set up right, which is not hard, you should have no problems. On that 7 mil, you need to be running at least two 35s. IMO
On the left side of the bike at the front underside of the gas tank, you will find a little module that has a plug with a couple wires. This is the tors control module. Unplug it and start it. If it runs right the prob is the tors adjustment. Then you will know the eliminator kit will solve the problem. You can run with it unplugged if you choose.
Unplug your stator and using an ohm meter test resistance between the white/red and the white/green wire. It should read around 117 ohms if good. I think that's the right number, I'll verify and repost. I've also seen the pickup coil gap to wide and cause this.
This is what I do to solve this problem. Get some lapping compound and put it in the crank and fly wheel. Lap the fly wheel to the crank until it becomes pretty hard to turn by hand. Clean both crank and fly wheel with carb cleaner to get all if the grit off. Buy a oem fly wheel key and a new nut. Use blue locktite on the threads and hit it with an impact.
Some after market keys don't fit right and the threads on the nut will sometimes become stretched after tightening them so I always us a new nut.
This theory has worked every time for me. Good luck.
I want the complete 96 bottom end. Zip is 66109. Check with the post office for shipping these. They are about half of UPS. Last one I sent was like 55lb.
