I've had the metering rods all the way up to 46.5 mm with the power jets wide open. I'm trying to get hold of Garret at GT Performance and take it to him on Thursday and get it in his dyno and work it out. If not, its going somewhere. I am at a loss and sick of fucking with it. I wish Andy wasn't so far away, but it may come down to it. I will have plenty of cold ones on hand at the hq ride for all those that have been helping. I do appreciate all of the input.

Tell me more.. I have 41.3 lectrons set up by Packard. I've thought its been a fuel/air issue but all of the carb changes and adjusting just hasn't produced any significant changes to the problem.

Maybe there needs to be a rule in place that you can't sell for 6 months after signing up. This way people could get an idea on the way things are supposed to work on hq. It's intended for the Banshee enthusiast to share information, get help and to help others out. By helping others you can sell parts they may need. I won't judge on the matter but know what your selling and if you don't know tell them. On the other hand, know what your buying and ask the right questions. Finally, if you fuck someone and don't make it right, this is a small world in the Banshee community and you never know who you will run into.

The squish is exactly what McCoy said it should be. You can take off from the trailer and it sounds great, kick it in neutral and rev it cleaning it out, put it in gear and nail it and it falls in its face. I may bring it to you cam.
-
I can be on damp grass in the return area at the strip rolling along at idle speed, nail the throttle and it will bog. If I hold the throttle on, yes it would eventuality kill the motor. It's not a gearing issue. I've tried it with the filters off.

It does the exact same thing in damp grass as it does on the track. It's a weird problem.
-
You've got it. New motor. I've taking it to the track 3 times for test and tune and have gotten no where. When you take off its like you pull the teather out. I'm at a loss and ready for someone to fix it for me now.

Ok Geniuses I need help. You know the theory about guys not wanting to ask for directions, Hell with that, I'm stumped. Here's the specs. 64mm stroke, 68mm bore, Nate McCoy topend, 41.3 lectrons with pe-1s on alcohol, metering rods at 48, single power jets 6 turns out, stock ignition with +12 timing (that's what Nate said), b9es plugs gaped at 18, squish is what Nate said it should be. This thing revs great in neutral like when you're cleaning it out, but put it in gear and take off, it bogs before you can even shift it. Stop and clean it back out, same thing. Plugs are not lean at all, maybe a little fat. Cylinder temps are around 108 both sides. Things I've tried. Leak down test, good, 2 other sets of carbs, 40s and 39s, fuel pump and gravity, timing from 7 through 12, all new electronics and wiring, ground checks, different types of plugs and gap, new reeds, checked head o rings and who knows what else. I'm at a loss and I thought I was pretty good with these things. Figure this out and I'll be buying a bunch beers for you at hq ride in waynoka.

It's set at 19 thousands.

Checked that. Boy, I wish it was that easy. I've seen that happen before.

Yeh its a 64mm stroke. I have done all of what u have asked including adjusting the metering rod all over Hell and back. As far as tires, in my pasture with holes shots, same shit. Come on keep thinking.

Found another dead beat from eBay "dingusg"
Rotax Raptor replied to Rotax Raptor's topic in Bad Buyer/Seller
He wants a refund. I pretty sure he found out its not something you just through on and it works. You have to time it correctly and spend some time getting it set up. I even in a text told him to go to person racing and download the insulation instructions. -
I just sold a pvl on eBay to "dingusg" from Naples, FL. He paid the buy it now price 3 days before the auction ended. The next day he sent me a message and asked if the pvl was like it came from the factory. My reply was its all there , it works fine and ill ship once paid. He sent me 3 more messages asking the same thing and the last one said I'm waiting for your answer before I payand left his number. I replied to all of them. The next day I sent a text to him and told him I worked at 3 so if he wanted it shipped he needed to pay. He replied I'm not by a computer now but I'll be by one soon. At 1:39 pm he sent a text saying he paid. I said, I work at 3 but I'll try to go by my shop and package it and ship if I have time. I couldn't do it so I shipped it the next morning. This guy came unglued about not shipping an hour after he paid. He sent text after text calling me a lazy old man, fucking ass and on and on. Today I got a notice from eBay saying he opened a dispute. He claimed I called him and told him the pvl was rusty and I didn't think it would work but, I'll send it anyway. Sounds pretty stupid right. He wrote lie after lie on the eBay dispute. Anyway, if dingusg, aka Dick smoker bids on something or uses buy it now cancel his ass. If anyone knows if he is on here, you should post his screen name. Or, I hope he's stupid enough to reply.

I had a Dick head try pulling this kind of shit with me and this us what I did to get my money back. First the paypal dispute. That tied he paypal up. Then I contacted the district attorneys office in phoenix, az where he lived. I gave them his name, phone number I had and email address and said he was operating an internet scam. Two days later the Dick head contacted me and asked if I would release the paypal dispute so he could refund me. I replied fuck you, figure out a way to get me my money and then I would. He sent my money from another paypal account. To this day, I don't know if the DA's office had anything to do with it or not, but a month long battle got resolved 2 days after the call. -
2011 BansheeHQ Ride - Little Sahara, OK

I think more then half of us could qualify for that class. Weight wise anyway -
Also, cut some short pieces of chain at different lengths and take with you. I did 1, 2, 3 and 4 links and a couple extra master links to make life a lot easier.

On my 10mi McCoy motor I'm running 16/44 most of the time. Sometimes I'll go to a 17/44 or 17/42 depending on track condition. Naturally all bikes and tracks are different, but that's the setup I got to that works best for me.

Superlights leaking a little to much air...
Rotax Raptor replied to b33rs's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Good luck. I've tried all of those things with no luck at all. I even had a set of tubes put in them and that lasted one run down the track. Ripped the valve stem out. So, I have a great looking set of taller haulers that are a complete waste of space. I can't even sell them. -
Over rated.. Someone show the dyno prof and I'll buy one.
