  1. I just did a rebuild an made the mistake of not tightening the front sproket nut down am it came off while riding. Luckly the chain didnt come off an far as can see no dmg done. Does anyone happen to know what size an threads that nut is or can you point me in the direction where i can find the sizes?
  2. I just broke my chain on my shee an am wondering if anyone knows the proper chain length for a +6swing arm with stock gear in rear and 14 tooth in front. Or can show me a way to calculate the new length that I need? I am thinking of changing the gearing for dune/drag
  3. I have a 2000 banshee with t6s,cool head with 20 domes, k&n air pods, +4 timeing and a +6 swing arm im currently running stock rear sprocket an a 14 tooth front sprocket. Im wanting to set it up as a dune/drag I broke the chain on it last summer an am wondering what the correct chain lenght should be and if there is a better gear set up I should be running and am wondering if I should be using more than a 8 paddle tire for it.
  4. I lost my idle screw for my stock carbs with Tors removed. Was wondering if anyone knew where I could pick one up?
  5. whoops posted in wrong forum sorry please remove.
  6. Need some help rejetting my carbs i want to jet for riding at silver lake michigan, not sure the elevation, but ive got +2 on timing, t6 pipes, boost bottle and cool head with 20 domes not sure the current jetting set cause I am in the process of rebuilding the stock carbs when i put the new coolhead in my floats started sticking like crazy in both carbs. Any help would be much appreciated I have no clue what to do when it comes to jetting thx

  9. thanks guys for all the info, I got some stuff to try out this weekend hopefully it works cause I aint got the cash to buy a new head just bought this one ,used but just got it.
  10. I don't have the acorn nuts I been tryin to look around to see where I can get some havn't had any luck at the local hard ware store. when you guys put the silicone on did you put it on around where the little oring gasket is or on the outside around the threads?
  11. I just got a Noss Performance cool head with 20 domes, I installed it and am having problems with coolant leaking from around the bolts it starts and runs fine. Just wondering if have any ideas how to fix the leaking coolant I put new o-ring set on it when i installed and I just tried putting a lil high temp gasket silicone on around the bolts and it is still wanting to leak a bit. I'm using stock nuts on it.
  12. I'll be there on sunday the 25th provided its decent weather should have my shee and few dirtbikes. should be there around noonish so can ride when its warmest out
  13. thanks guys for the imput There offset quite a bit so thats what kinda was worrying but yeah I did ride around with them slowly just testing them and they grabbed really well. got probably 4 inches sticking past my fenders on both sides so they are huge not sure the size exactly but they were on a yamaha warrior I know.
  14. My stock tires are spinning to much on grass and dirt so I was looking for some more aggressive dirt tires and found some fairly new spidertracs that we had laying around. my question is do you guys think these are to aggresive for my banshee that it might damage some stuff by creating to much pull or something? My shee is fairly stock have k&n air pods, +4 on timing t5 full exhaust and tors removed. the tires are huge on there and I feel they will hurt it or break my hubs but, I wanted some 3rd party imput.
