What IS the definition of a "PRO" ? If you gotta have every last little bit out of an engine then maybe. Or if it's a $2g cylinder. I see a lot on this site all but expect shit to blow because there right on the edge.
Built, not bought. Be your own "builder"
I agree 100% with tricked.
A little is a lot when it comes to raising port heights. Hardest thing is to be symeterical and duplicating one cyl to other
Clean any rust off the stator poles, magnets, and timing nubs on outside of wheel. Wheel on my son's shows marks from a carpenters hammer, works fine. I might not put it on a high dollar "Builder" motor and it's not F-1 material ......
Hey, welcome back! Have to have minimum posts to use shout box. Post whore it!! Any site sponser will set you up on engine& parts. Also check Two Stroke Shop in OZ, might save with shipping, dunno .
If you are less than half the "service" limit on bore/piston specs you could do just hone and rings. However, I wouldn't waste new pistons in an old bore, only another $100 or so to bore. You should be able to find a local shop/machine shop/dealer who can do the bore. You don't need to ship your shit to just get a simple rebuild done. Not like you're a high HP nut swinger.
Have you ever rode a 2s before? They don't have the bottom end of a 4banger. Your "warranty" won"t be worth shit if you take it back with those pipes on, just saying.
To quote an old song: "What we have here is Failure to communicate" The sellers operative phrase was I hope. IF it was that big of a deal I'd been communicating EVERY day, or more.
To often see people waiting till last minute to get parts. Do you think if you went to local shop and bought new you'd have got it quicker? What if they waited couple days to get a bigger order together to save on their shipping costs? What if the carrier wrecked and took couple of days to sort the load out?
To quote Forest Gump "It happens".
I think both side here should share the .
