  1. Case blew apart on the right side, The kick start didnt even seem to kick back, and I havent ridden it anywhere but down the road once or twice.
  2. Well, just put my quad back together after fixing my spark and timing issue. Go to start it, it starts, but starts pouring oil. Broke clutch cover. No big deal, replace it. Kickback broke it I assumed. Go to look more closely, and I broke my case at the back by the cover. Long story short, I need to buy new cases and is there anything else I should look for that caused my issue
  3. And also as Jereme said, is the parking brake still connected? if so, eliminate that, see if it fixes it.
  4. Is there hesitation when you immediately crack on the throttle? Old gas by chance? Did you put 25s back in? Id be running 27.5s if it were me. What alt are you at and how about temps.
  5. What do your plugs look like? are they black and fouling? I'm almost leaning towards a semi blocked pilot jet. Or a misadjusted air setting.
  6. Well, turns out my problem isnt solved. Quit on me again. i dont know what the issue could be. Stator is good, coils are good, Swapped out and checked with others. swapped out everything I could think of.
  7. Definitely a useful idea, I just tapped into my frame and mounted onto a bolt. I like the shock mount better. Going to relocate. Gotta pull the motor and clean everything first. Doesnt look like its been done since bike was first bought. Thank you all for the help.
  8. I solved the problem taking a peice of 14 g fencing wire, wrapping it through the frame and touching it to the cylinder, went from no spark to spark. Honestly didnt think it would cause the problem myself, but with bushings and bearings and whatnot I can see why swing arm chain and sprockets would stop the grounding process.
  9. Thumb switch was bypassed has twist throttle tors removed, Figured it out, was the frame to motor ground, gonna look up Brandon's post and run the ground and throw it back together. Thanks for letting me bounce the ideas around, also thanks for the help.
  10. Already done, harness looks perfect, gotta go retape it. Was thinking maybe not getting a good Frame to motor ground?
  11. Well, quad ran fine yesterday. Went out to start today, no spark. Tested my stator, my ign coil, my pickup coil, switched out cdi and coil, nothing worked out there for me. key switch isnt the issue. Known for a fact through the tester. Kinda at a stand still. Stator is oem, and tested perfect. So not quite sure where else to go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Plug Chop, Go from there, if plugs are white go up, If black, go down. As for the Air setting, you'll have to feel the bike out. May need more air if topend is flat.
  13. Had pro-x in my buddies bike and most of mine. Well. long story short, they were soon rebuilt.
