You could start by moving to the eastside like the Jeffersons.
Or you could tell us what mods you have, what your budget is, and what you want to accomplish.
As to reliability, MAINTENANCE is key. Inspect and lube. Replace worn parts before they break. Leak test and jet on the rich side.
Has it always leaked or did the problem develope since you got it/ got it going? Just because rad is new doesn't mean it doesn't leak............... just saying.
Because both plugs fire at same time it's hard to tell if you're getting good spark on that cyl at the right time.
To fix my son's one sided miss was clean all rust off stator poles, inside of flywheel, and off timing nubs on outside of flywheel. Set pick-up gap at both nubs.
It's called tuning. Only you can decide if it needs the clip changed. There is a sticky titled "What jets are you running" or something like that. Find it, find set-ups simular to yours and get a range of jets. Such as 290, 300, 310 + maybe 320. Start rich and work your way down with either plug chops or reading plugs.
I just used kitchen sink drain screens from dollar store 2/$1. Actually thought of getting letter stamps and copying whats stamped on the stock silencers.
Like Jereme, my son's was cracking the boots. I used some grey pvc type caps, for 1/2" tube IIRC, installed with 3bond and hose clamps. Don't need no stinking crossover tube either, they sell boots without the holes.
Little more info help.
Which pipe, does it stink? Little or lots? How long did it sit? Is it just normal spooge leaking? Have you tried cleaning carbs, setting floats?
Hell, my old ass eyes can see the drum moving. There should be a circlip holding the bearing in, from what I see on bike bandit, but I can't c&p the page, part #3 on transmission.
