  1. Not sure with either, but might have to trim plastic. I do know with the IMS, if steering hoop is bent you will never get it to fit.
  2. lean burn down in your future
  3. Kick start idler gear.
  4. Double check float height. Fresh fuel? Check pilot jet on that carb. Try tweeking that air screw. check carb sync.
  5. Did you use loctite on the screw/nut? Might just need new adj screw, tho can't see how it would wear out.
  6. Suggestion for ya. Before you buy, post a link to the add, or pics and description just so you don't have to start a thread: DID I GET FUCKED ON THIS DEAL ??? No offense, but someone who is trying to unload a piece of shit, will have no qualms about fukkin a kid. CAVEAT EMPTOR !!
  7. Lean runaway is one thing I know is not in the Clymers. Course neither is a fucking baby bottle. OOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPSSSSSS I meant boost bottle. Wants umolested but disco'd tors, dual gasser, and BB? Da fugg, make up you fucking mind. Next you'll want real pipes but insist on keeping stock jets, eh?
  8. Don't expext much for 2g No matter how "inclined" you are get a Clymers repair manual. Hours of reasearch? GMAMFB. Study harder, should have got more answers. Contact Alba about choice of arms/shocks, they know their product best. Not aware of extended hubs @2", YFZ450r hubs will add 1 1/2 total. Good extended axle is way to go. meh, answered first couple ?? BTW welcome
  9. Well, he already has that tester, I told him how to use it
  10. Even Windy would have trouble with that post K I S S e t i t e m u p p p l i e d
  11. Looks just like the Harbor Fright one that I use. FYI it will also work for leakdown tester on 2smoke. Drawback is you have to remove tank. But Be creative, using PVC caps for intake boots, drill hole slightly smaller than threads on adapter and force thread adapter into cap. Use 3Bond or permatex #2 on threads. Stock bumper end caps or rubber plumbing caps for exhaust. Nice part is double redundancy with regulator. Turn compressor reg down to 10#, back tester all way out and slowly adjust up. Nice part is if you have clip on tire chuck you can add air and spray soapwater at same time First thing to check is your tester. No leaks in connections, PVC caps to boots, Rubber caps on ex, spark plugs. After that it's just gaskets, seals, intake boots. Flex boots to double check them. Dish soap and water, 25/75 to 50/50. Put trans vent end in glass/cup of water to test case seal and right crank seal. IF you get bubbles, pull clutch cover and test right seal. They can leak at the collar/keyway on crank end.
  12. Do this ^^^ eliminate the fucking brick on carb, makes it easier to work on.
  13. Sudco, Carb Parts Warehouse, maybe Jets are Us. Another way to kill a runaway is put in gear, hold brake, dump clutch.
  14. Auto ignition runaway, gotta love 2smokes for that ability alone.
  15. Dry your filters over the heat in house for day or two. Inspect carbs, imsure good flow from petcock
  16. By stock location you mean width and no + forward?
  17. So you running SLPs now??
  18. You need to learn more about tuning. Get or look at pics of Mikuni Pocket Tuning Calculater. It recomends one main jet size for every 20*f change. The higer the state of "tune" on a motor, the more it needs "tuning" with the weather. Always jet on the rich side, plugs are cheaper than pistons. The few horses you leave in the barn will still be there when you get back. My son's banshee I increase 3 sizes for winter riding.
  19. Figures it was a "government" job.
  20. So, what clearance are you going to use?
  21. Tell us what your perfect jetting is at what elevation,
  22. You run heads up or bracket?
  23. Ohm plug caps seperate. Set pickup gap?
  24. Have you done a squish test?
