  1. I'm almost 100% that it is the clutch adjustment that is rattling and not the kick starter when I pull the clutch in it stopps then when I let off the clutch it starts to rattle but only at idle when I start going it stops/don't notice it/don't hear the rattle the only reason I'm sure it's the clutch adjustment is because it was the only thing that didn't have play while I was disassembling and then had play while I was assembling also once I heard the rattle I got down and listened very closely and it's coming right where the clutch adjustment is at
  2. Would it hurt to leave it as is? also what gaskets do you guys recommend i ended up buying one from a shop near me but wanted to see if there is anything better and or a good kit.
  3. i did not it almost seemed like something broke free but i don't know what since i barely even touched the adjustment and there didn't appear to be anything i could do to reduce the play even by tightening it
  4. Ok so the clutch went out on my 06 shee the last time we went out riding so the other day i installed a tusk clutch and after getting everything put back together and fired her up everything seemed to work great took it for a little test run and no problems what so ever but... as soon as i got back to the shop and came to an idle i noticed a rattle i kinda anticipated something like this happening but still was pretty damn depressing. Now the reason i said i anticipated this was when i was installing the clutch i noticed the clutch adjustment screw had a little play in it, since i was unsure if this was normal i decided to roll the dice and put everything back together and stupidly hoped it was one of those things that fixed its self (yeah i know ). So how do I get this fixed fellas and or ladies.
  5. You would recommend the dmc over the toomeys? Any particular reason
  6. oh and i would possiably upgrade the reed valves if its worth doing.
  7. Ok so i have been looking around and reading alot of different posts on this subject and i am aware there isnt a best banshee pipe its all based on your riding type and what mods you have and or plan to put on. So heres what i have, a 2006 100% stock banshee (the only aftermarket part on it currently is a toomey rad) I mostly ride dirt trails/roads i never drag (nor plan to) and have never been to the dunes (i might some day) the only pipes i have experiance with are toomey t5s and t6s and i love them alot but its hard to dish out 700 plus bucks on the t5 kit but if there the best option i will. I dont plan on doing any major mods the only things that i would do are, a coolhead(will mostlikely get), timing plate(have one coming from chariot right now), jet(based on which pipes i get will determin what jets i get), airfilter(leaning towrds K&N), pipes, hi flow water pump and a arms. I think that should give enough info for some recommendations so please let me know what you guys think.
  8. So after further inspection of my brothers banshee here the lower ball joint on the a arm was completely bent as well as the actual a arm, so i am needing some recommendations on new a arms that aren't extremely expensive. Also what is the benefit of going to a +2 or a +3 a arm?
  9. is Noss for the cool head or do they do timing plates too? I definitely like the Chariot timing plate looks pretty slick.
  10. Ok so far we have timing plate and a cool head is there any other mods anyone would recommend? Any recommendations on which timing plate and cool head work best.
  11. This is what my brother did earlier that day not but 5 minutes into our ride http://s1302.photobucket.com/user/scott_curtis4/media/IMAG0734_zpsarfkkc1i.jpg.html

  13. well long story short my dad got a little froggy and wipped his shee striaght into a forklift when we were offloading and im not sure yet if he bent his a arm or tweeked his frame a little so that is good to know
  14. i'll get some pics added in a little bit got them tucked away and couldnt snag any good pics. What brand of timing plate and Cool head would you recomend? I havent really came across anything for the timing plate but did come across a BP Racing Super Cool Billet Head & Domes on amazon any thoughts on it.
