Are nets replaceable or does it depend on brand of bars ? Set on CL for $50, this good price? Says may need new nets.

How did it run before you ran the fuel out ? Do you have fresh fuel in it now ? Be very leary of taking it to Ben Dover Banshee Repair. They'll grab you by the BALLS and wallet. Make sure choke crossover tube is in place. Also float bowls are different, are they on correct carb? Don't recall which is which offhand. Hope this helps. Keep us posted !!

Unless you're broke or something hold out for your price . I know you've put some work & $ into it. IMO, any shee that runs is worth $1000 easy.

Think I saw this argument somewhere else about thermal efficientcy of paint/no paint. Probably an anodizing would be best for thermal transfer and still prvide some protection. Auto manufacturers probably ony paint rad so they make it thru warenty. Ever notice how quick shit rusts up on the underside of a new car ,especially in the rust belt or near ocean? That was my bigest concern because some dirt is acidic. Guess I'l go with the tanks and sides satin black.

My son's 87 had a misfire when we got it. Pulled flywheel, cleaned poles on stator, nubs on flywheel for pick-up, and pick-up coil. Bamm, good to go. Your results may vary,lol. Costs nothing to try other than a puller.

This is why I'd prefer parts that are 2100 miles closer to me. From the photo I saw I'd be looking from 30 feet away. We all learn from life's experiences. next time you'll know to ask for close-ups of parts. Also the rest of us learn from others problems. Stripped paint off rad, my son likes the bare aluminum wants to paint just sides and tanks. Do the fins and tubes have to be painted? Thanks.
