Ok. First off this is post #1, I've searched around, but will admit I suck at searching. I currently have a project that a student brought into my shop a few weeks ago. It is an 1987 Banshee with some work done to it. I've got no clue whats been done to it. There is no paperwork history what so ever. His plan was to throw it back together with stock cylinders bored to 66.00mm. He purchased all the parts in brought everything in together. I went through the parts with him, measured the new cylinders, and started prepping to put it together......... When I discovered something odd. The wrist pin bearings are to large for the connecting rods.. So I had him bring in the pistons and cylinders that he took off. Which turned out to be bored, ported (heavily, looks pretty rough though), and had blaster pistons in them (67.50mm). So basically, I am not a Banshee guy. I've never kept up on all the different combinations and modifications you can do to them. So I am hoping someone can help me. Please feel free to ask any specific questions, and I will answer to the best of my ability.
