  1. You need sparkies at Silver lake, there's a thread about home made sparkies, might be worth a try
  2. X-2 on swapping plug wires to see if problem follows. My son's 'shee acted simular, cleaned poles on stator, inside of flywheel, lugs on outside, set pick-up gap. Problem solved, your results may vary.
  3. Once you get the front dialed in you should be top of the podium. Your 'Shee looks great.
  4. Hope they aren't charging storage , 4 weeks WTF X-2 on grounds , ALL connections. Also check switches
  5. Ahh , aren't life's lessons great !! " A sucker is born every minute" ( P.T. Barnum) Buyer beware. Why do you think hookers come out at night? How many of you have torn your shit down for someone to look at it? Or have had someone tear down so YOU could look at it ??
  6. Welcome to BHQ !! How hard was it to get it across the bridge ? Nice looking 'shee
  7. Maybe this will help, http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=130184
  8. Too funny, I was looking at that also. Thought it was the 1 in FS here that was welded. Just now noticed the split in the pivot.
  9. Don't worry , most of us have had "Tim Allen" moments , the rest just won't admit it. A little is good , more must be great ,lol. From what I've seen , about $2-300 depending on color.
  10. More info or pics would be nice, especially how he cuts them open. This is an interesting idea, didn't realize banshee pipes had crap inside them like Blaster pipe. One thing I'm baffeled about is dia of stinger vs lenght , seems to small. Have to look for old pipes tomorrow. To much junk not enough light in garage lol.
  11. Only experience similar was the pin droped into transfer port. There weren't any pieces large enough to determine what happened first. One thing I do know was that I reused the clip. Since then I have never reused pin clips. Piston crown was in one piece, below ring land was powder. BTW, this was a T-500 Suki , only two transfer ports, thats how pin could fall into port, lol.
  12. Some one help this brother out !!!
  13. Timing plate or key? If key maybe you put it in backwards. Why did you change jets? What were jets you took out ?Did you change anything else at the same time ? Try it with jets you took out.
  14. He says he's building cranks , says nothing about makig his own rods tho.
  15. Well , I know I just learned something today. Thank You !!
  16. Waste of a good Banshee IMHO, butcher up a YFZ or Raptor. Seen one on CL only asking $600.
  17. Unless it was sold to you as a direct replacement for a crank bearing I wouldn'y use it. If it is a correct bearing the plate would go out towards seal so that it would get oil. Never force it , get a bigger hammer !
  18. You might want to go one tooth larger on the front sprocket , (gear) , no offense but translation programs are kid of funny. Welcome to BHQ !!
  19. Welcome to BHQ !! A wealth of knowledge here , someone will come up with an answer for you.
  20. maybe use some mineral spirits (or straight gas, BE CAREFUL) in pipe, slosh it around to clean excess oil.
  21. Go to YFZ Central, read some of the threads, 14 hrs on a build, new piston every 40 hrs on big bore. I don't see where that is more reliable. Think of the shortness of their "slipper" piston, very little wear and it will start rocking in the bore. Plus they rev to 12-13,000 rpm just to make power.
  22. Sorry, I forgot to welcome you to BHQ !! Maybe also check silencers for plugging.
  23. Clean air filter, change plugs, clean carbs or at least float bowls. Might as well change trans oil.
  24. I would try something a little less agressive than sand ,soda or walnut shells. Pipes are thin enough to start with.Use good header paint like duplicolor header paint, not bbq.
  25. This site is like porn for me !!
