  1. Thanks again guys. Hell, you know how these dudes on Craigslist operate, "Trade you even up for my 1986 Honda Shadow 500", or "Take $1000 today?"
  2. Thanks guys, I'd be willing to drive a little and meet if anyone is serious about buying. jlaits, I've been posting it on the U.P. Craigslist for awhile now. We have a cabin just north of Ishpeming. But I was actually up there with the bike a month and a half ago or so.
  3. This is a clean, meticulously maintained 1990 Yamaha Banshee. I've owned this bike for 9 years.. I'm selling it because it rarely gets used. EVERY chassis bearing and bushing has been replaced at one time or another and everything in the chassis is in great shape. It has a newer chain, and tires that are basically new yet. This bike also has the parking brake and TORS systems removed. It's set up to run on 110 octane and has been built to be a good trail bike, below is a list of mods that have been done also.... Works dual rate front shocks Works progressive rate rear shock with remote resivoir. 4. Hey guys, still looking for input so ill ask here... My bike is as follows, stock air box - cover looks like swiss cheese, K&N filter, Boost bottle, Carbon fiber reed petals on stock cages, 4 degrees advanced timing over stock, 21cc domes (for now, have 19's on the bench), ported cylinders (case not ported), bored .090 over, FMF Fattys, Power core 2 silencers, stock gearing with 22in rear tires... Elevation - 850ish feet, looking to be safe down to 50* F... I just picked up some 28 mm mikuni TM flatslide carbs and am looking for advice in setting these up for the Banshee, slide, needle, nozzle, needle and seat, air jet, all that good stuff... Thanks, Craig
  5. ok thanks, ill do that... anyone else?
  6. Anyone else with setup suggestions for 28 mm Mikuni flatslides?... just trying to get as much info as i can... Thanks, Craig
  7. I had the same thinking on the sleeve, but there is only like a 1.5mm difference in diameter in the OD of the intake flanges between the stock carbs and the TM's. If you did make a sleeve would you even be able to get it on without wrecking it cause it would be so thin? My bike is ported, bored .090 over, 21cc domes, fattys, and open air box, I don't know what set up you guys are running but im curious if the slides and nozzles etc... would need to be switched to work with my engine like Snop suggested... Thanks
  8. Ok, thanks... any recommendations on the setup?
  9. I'm looking at getting a set of Mikuni 28mm TM flatslide carbs for my bike and was wondering if they will work with the stock intake and air box boots? The diameter of the carb body on the intake side is 33mm, and is 44mm on the air box side. What are your general impressions of these carbs on the banshee overall? Thanks, Craig
