  1. Hose from rad goes to bottom of tank, top hose goes to steer hoop then down. if you have air box they slip into the hooks on right side of box
  2. Well bowl drains is a different thing, I think the "needle" gets jacked. I tried tightening them , no luck. The Warrior I whittled a twig and jambed it into the hose . I think I'm going pull the drain out and try some sealant, maybe good old permatex #2 , or holimar.
  3. Are you talking the bowl drains?
  4. I thought it was a myth too until I was putting my son's back together, sure enough it was developing cracks. I used some pvc caps, threebond, clamps = done. No bottle, no tube
  5. Well at this point, put your motor together and ride the bitch, start looking for a frame, and do a build this winter. How did it ride? What made you decide to stand it up to look at it? If you're in no hurry should be able to find one at the right price. Maybe even put a wanted on CL and watch for one on here that's local to you.
  6. 39 pwk don't have crossover
  7. Fuel off, throttle wide open, kick until gauge stops moving (10-15 kicks). Screw in gauge with threads same length as plug.
  8. Just get some 240s if it's easiy enough to get them. Usually guys don't use V-force until they get into highly modified builds. You might not notice any difference. It's your money. At this point any reeds won't require additional jetting. Look around the forum , reading up on other set-ups to see where you might want to take it in the future.
  9. Any plans on changing the tuned length of them?
  10. http://www.lakesmotorsports.com/eshopprod_cat_508-735-3916_product_99611.Banshee_Viper_Sleeves.htm Sleeve on left shows exhaust with a bridge, these are aftermarket sleeves.
  11. I think I would put it back for now because you could burn the motor up otherwise. How hard is it for you to get parts localy for you? Or would you have to get them from out of your country? This isnt the correct forum for this question I will try to get a moderator to move it and send you a PM . it will probably go in general discussion. B T W Welcome to Banshee H Q !! I've seen some footage of some pretty nasty Banshees from the mid-east
  12. Seeing you probably don't get much mud over there, take the air box lid off. If the intake noise bothers you put it back on. Your "speed" problem is jetting with that filter. You are lean and shouldn't run it until you jet it. I would think 230 w/ lid , 240-250 without. Unless you go for more major mods you don't need V-force reeds , maybe just a set of Boysen or Vitos dual stage.
  13. Is that all carbon built up on the right piston?
  14. Hope it wasn't slo moe. Some of his stuff is a little iffy.
  15. http://www.mmatvonline.com/product_info.php?cPath=26_27_22&products_id=657 Don't know if this is exactly the same, but I'm not looking thru all products. There's a reason everyone says use site sponsers. They support the site and if it's the same it's actually cheaper than E-gay. Give them a call , if it's not the same the can hook you up with what you want. One added benifit is their customer service is second to none.
  16. All depends on what you want. My son's is an unported 4mil with head spacer and FMF gold pipes. Tons of torque, lifts up stabbing throttle in 4th on pavement at slow roll. There is only one fastest Banshee and this isn't it. But it puts a smile on this old face. Plus my 21 yr old son loves it too. I'm sure as time goes on he'll want more, it's his and his dime.
  17. Wether they are cast or forged just be sure to bore to fit. Be sure ports are champhered and set ring end gap. If it's a cast piston they are less forgiving of excess clearance as the piston and bore wear.
  18. I thought it was just me . Re-ring on Banshee no file, Blaster with fresh bore one ring needed filing one didn't. What's the service limit for wiseco rings? Could it be they make them idiot proof?
  19. Considering the DG do little to nothing consider saving up a little more or keep an eye out for a deal on something else, be patient. Got my son a set of FMF Gold series for $35, obviosly not in good condition, little weld, a can of high heat paint = good enough. Ain't no trailer queen.
  20. Don't you just hate when O P doesn't come back with more info/comment on original post ?????
  21. JD makes most excellant parts. Compare the thickness , design and weld quality to others. Also compare design of his rotors to some E-bay crap, some look only to be for "show". While back someone had a cheep rotor wad up like a beer can.
  22. Best answer is in Clymers. In a nut shell, you tighten inner to Xft/lbs, hold inner tighten outer to XX ft/lbs , hold outer turn inner 3mm into outer nut.
  23. Check out threads / setups in XC/hare scrambles forum, do some reading thru suspension forum. Worse case you might have to slip/feather the clutch a little if the trails get tite. Just don't get a wild/crazy built Banshee then expect to trail ride it
  24. Fuck the Gov's daughter She's in your town
  25. Fouling could be caused by a few things. Dirty air filter, wrong plugs, wrong jetting, cheap oil.
