  1. i run the same pipes as you,,,one day mine stared making the samme noise as you described,,,then it blew up......lol,,just kiddin man,,,,,my exhaust was just loose on one side,,,noticed i was missing a spring,,,replaced all springs and made sure the orings were ok inside the pipes and the noise magically disappeared.
  2. oh ya,,,if you have 12 holes drilled in the lid you may as well just ditch the pos when you get pipes,,,but if you ditch it now you may have to go up on your mains,,,,so i would just wait to you get pipes,,then ditch the lid and rejet accordingly
  3. dont bother,,,just pick up a used set of pipes when u can afford it,,,u will be very happy when you do,,,just dnt forget to rejet!
  4. if im correct,,,you may need to start out with a few jet sizes bigger than that with that kind of elevation,,,if i have this backwards someone please chime in,,,as far as the pilots i dont know if u will have to go up or not,,,possibly so.....and if your desperate,,,yes,,you can get the jets from a dealer

  6. yes,,it will give you more bottom end,,,,i doubt you will find an mx track that you will run out of gear on,,,you may have to shift a bit faster but.......you see where im going. and i like my fatties,,,and ak,,,we know you love your pc's,,,lol

  8. well the only real advantage to a coolhead is the interchangability of the domes,,,if you will be wanting to raise and lower your compression,,,your lookin at $300,,,,,shave your stock head and im borderline race gas at 160 psi for like $40,,depends on what your gonna do with it,,,oh ya,,,coolhead also gives the bling look,,,but stock shaved is the sleeper look,,,,lol
  9. so what your saying by just using a good compression tester and kicking her til shee stops will not give me a reading on whether or not to run race gas?

  11. how much horsepower with no porting in the cylinders can a banshee make with every bolt on imaginable? and what kind of #'s do u think im running,,my mods are,,+4 timing,,shaved stock head runnin at 160 psi(half 110 mix),,ported stock cages with boyesen power reeds, old school fmf fatties,k&n no lid,,,28mm pwk's,jetted perfectly...i seem to beat 450's pretty easily, havent been beat yet by one. aggressive dune port this winter.....so what you guys think?

  15. what are you running now? stock 14/41? start by dropping a tooth in the front (13) and go from there,,,,,
  16. reduced price on sprockets i had listed previously,,,,i have a 41 and a 42 tooth,,,,,both brand new,,,$30 shipped in the u.s. i have 1 pair of stock reed cages with vitos dual stage reeds in like new condition,,,$20 shipped,,,and last but not least i have a stock air box lid with snorkle for $25 shipped. pm your email if anyone wants pics
  17. if he is just gonna do a bolt on motor with no porting,i wouldnt go with vf3's,,,they generally work better with higher hp motors. some stock cages with some boyesen dual stage reeds,or vitos,,,you get the picture,,,could get some stock ported cages with the above mentioned reeds as well. i have a pair of stock cages with vitos dual stage reeds if your interested just gimmee a pm man....

  19. what mains were in them when u got them?. i have 28mm pwk's myself and bought a bunch of jets,,,pulled the jets and they were 125's,,,the reason being is they use a rich needle requiring a smaller main jet and run like a 60 pilot. apparantly dirt bikes are set up like this so i spent $25 for jets i couldnt use,,,i ended up at 128's,,,,they were out of 127's is where i want it to be,,,,just a thought man...
  20. that would have been this first i would say too,,,,lol. ya,,,and junk the boost bottle and just use a stock cross over tube. and you can also buy or have your stock head cut and save alot of coin bro,,it will boost your compression anywhere from 25 to 40 psi depending on how much its shaved,,,,
