  1. I use a temp gauge built into the radiator cap. seems accurate. think i ordered it from summitt racing. I did cut a very little bit of plastic to get a better view of it tho.
  2. Saw this post and thought I would add to it for other people needing info. The harbor freight gauge was probably the issue to a point. if it showed differance between both jugs i am sure that is part of the motor problem but I also wanted to check compression on mine and bought a new harbor frieght gauge due to misplacing my other. I found 70psi per jug. OUCH!!! Found my original gauge and was relieved when it showed 155psi per side. Well the harbor junk is going back!
  3. Thanks for the input. The news is what I expected. The porting was done by Herr Juggs and yes was very impressed with the gains thus the reason I wanted to keep it. Thanks for the input, helps me out.
  4. Can someone tell me what is the largest overbore that can be done on a stock banshee cylinder. Also can you sleeve them? Think it is time due to low compression but want to reuse because of port work already done. bore I believe was 100 over last build. Thanks
  5. I saw some post on doing some porting yourself on this site last year but not finding it now. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  6. thanks for the help, soon i will have the 19cc domes in there. (they were already supposed to be in but found 22cc domes instead.) guess thats why one should do their own work lol.
  7. when reinstalling the coolhead do you put the orings in dry or coat them with something?
  8. Thanks for the info. I do have it have used it alot and will use it alot more I am sure.
  9. New to HQ, Glad to find this site! Does anyone know where I can find tech info on replacing domes on a prodesign coolhead (bolt torque and sequence) never done it before. Thanks for any response.
