I would still check the sync and fix that exhaust leak. If your all stock I think 115 is a little below normal.

If its a bead leak, the best way to do it is dismount the tire and put bead sealant on the wheel...then re mount and you should be good Most local tire shops can do this

Are the carbs synced?

Have you done a leakdown on the '97 shee? Mite be a serious air leak..... IMHO I wouldn't put the 40's on the '97. Those carbs should be on a pretty large built bike.

Porting will wake that beast up Hit up a site sponsor, they will hook you up with everything you need. I had Wildcard Racing port my shee and there work is flawless.

X2. If its not ported and your looking for more power, get that done first. I still run stock carbs on my Wildcard Racing aggressive dune ported 350, and the thing rips so damn hard. I'm sure carbs would help, but It runs great right now with stockers Yeah every little bit helps, but I think you'll see bigger power gains having it ported first. Not 100% sure, but I've been told stock carbs will handle up too about 65-70HP.

Looks like a pretty decent truck, and if your in need for your own vehicle it mite be a good idea. I guess just depends if you still want your shee or not. Me personally, my bike is worth more than I could ever sell or trade it for...(sentimental value) But to each his own.

What are you driving right now?

I dropped one tooth in the front and didnt like it. Ended up going back to a stock 14 in the front. I ride big dunes and need longer gears. Everyone is different though
