fyi it doesnt matter if the parking brake was removed. the wires have to be shorted together to disenguage the parking break rev limiter,sometimes this wiring can mess up

I remember hearing that 7mil's and 10mil's cost about the same to build,why not just go 10? I may be wrong here.

I have no idea what skids,but be careful with those a arms and keep an eye on the heims and the spindle pins

How far will it rev? If it starts up easy but wont rev it could be something as simple as your parking brake switch. Trouble shooting by buying parts is never a good way to go.

Ive built/repaired more banshees than i can remember,and I watched someone port my 88lt250r cylinder from start to finish,And what i saw was nothing your ever going to learn from a template. He said endless trial and error was how he learned. Learning how to port from a template,is about like learning to paint a portrait with a stencil. He was the same guy i took some ported banshee cylinders to,to check them out. The porting looked fine to me,but after he measured and pointed stuff out,he came to the conclusion that it wasnt even safe to run.

Could it be the angle of the swinger/ect just making it appear to look bent?

In my circle of friends we have had a vito's hemi head,vito's stroker kit/cylinders,vitos big bore kit,stock style crank. Never had any problems with any of it. The big bore kit was slow,but never broke. Now this is not to say they havent made bad stuff,im sure they have,but nothing i have personally seen or used was bad. Of course if your patient i have seen hot rods go as low as 310.
